11/12 Kit

When was the last time we had a kit for more than 1 season?

Looks alright though.

I get that some people want one kit for a more than one year but it makes sense for clubs to switch every year. It makes them so much money because people constantly go out and get the new one, even if it annoys them. It's guaranteed money.

Personally, I love seeing new kits and new designs. If there is a kit that I like I get that one and stick with it.

One of the comments begins with "I think it looks quite legit... " but goes on to include the following edit:

Never mind, it's been discredited already on TSC

I love new kits every season too. Plus, if you look at it the nostalgic way, you can look at a home kit and know what happened that season. Not an incredible example, but I have the 08/09 shirt, which is also the one we wore in the Champions League Final. Every time I wear it it brings back bad memories, but then it also just spurs me on to think we've made it to the final before, we can do it again, we can win it.

Our New kit should not contain red but i will defiantly be buying one Torres at the back defiantly :) i have complete faith in him scoring loads of goals for us!

None of our kits should contain GREEN!!!! :JC_doubledown: wtf ... the 3rd shirt from this year has to be the worst choice of colour ever .... any colour but green please ::ChELSeAFaN::

Hmm I thought we were keeping the current kit for 2 years. Guess not...

Looks alright. I'll probably buy it as I buy every good looking one.

I must agree with you WHFBLue, the 3rd shirt this year is terrible and I can't believe people wear it. It's the worst shirt colour ever.

I like it!! It's the first time I've really liked our kit in quite a while. Perhaps that is because it reminds me of great times following the blues.

It seems like a cross between the 83/84 Le Coq Sportif kit and the less glorious Chelsea Collection kit from around 86 (the Simod sponsored shirt).

It's not bad as a whole, but I hate the the way they've done the Adidas stripes on the sleeves. Makes it look cheap. The three stripes look better on the shorts, though. Keeper's shirt looks much better as the stripes are done in a more traditional way.

Love the two toned blue.

How can a keeper kit be white when a lot if the teams playing us will be wearing white?

My guess is he'd just wear the away shirt against those teams - no need to change the whole team just for the goalkeeper. Even if that's not the case, you've got to assume that someone would have thought of that during the design process.
