We never always filled the ground but to brag that they took it over when we could not be bothered turning up is laughable. i never recall them doing it when we had a full house.
December 3, 201510 yr Some great football photos on this site (check out the Millwall goalkeeper), including this Chelsea one and I had that Peter Bonetti kit when I was a kid. If this is the Preston replay when the floodlights went out I was there, it's probably the re-arranged on played on a weekday afternoon. http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/retro/80833/the-black-and-white-years-15-glorious-football-photos-from-the-archives.html Edited December 3, 201510 yr by Peckham Blue

December 5, 201510 yr Same here, I didn't go to either of the cup games but remember a hell of a lot of Bolton graffitti around the ground afterwards. Got a vague memory of some loser going up Fulham Road the night before a game, spraying graffiti all over the place, making it look like they'd brought a mob up. I thought it was Plymouth, but could just as easily have been Bolton. Total w*nker, whoever it was.
