Seems to be quite a big crowd - wow! Lovely pic, thanx for posting.

 

I'm not sure how reliable it is but according to Wikipedia the crowd was 10,123.

    Derek Ridgers is a quality photographer from the the late 70's onwards......and he is a spurs fan lol

    Haha so maybe i was right then about our score last season lol!

     

    Just googled him & found loads of his photo's of Skinheads including one of a mate of mine & well known Chelsea face.

    Haha yeah mate, it didnt go down to well in Barca when he got done with a claw hammer & the docs had to cut his jumper off him, few tuts & shakes of the head when the docs saw it.

    5) FINALLY, something of interest at Stamford Bridge. I'm sent a pic of rugby league at Chelsea's ground. The game was Fulham v Cardiff City on the eve of the 1983 Challenge Cup Final because Craven Cottage was unavailable due to pitch repairs. Cardiff won 20-14 in front of 3,321.

    I think I know who you mean if it's Feltham..........Derek Ridgers is a friend on Facebook. He used to go to the same clubs as me, very early 80's.

    Nah not Feltham mate, one of our lot from North London..

     

    That Derek Ridgers has some great photo's to be fair, didnt he ever do football? i bet he'd have some quality photo's from back in the day.
