January 3, 201610 yr Remember these playing at half time and sporadically in the second half of the match while seated in the East lower nearest the shed, cant remember who we were playing though? Derby county? Something totally different & a bit random.. still nice to see the Bridge from a different angle & stand. The Golden Girls/American marching band at SB in 1975.

January 6, 201610 yr the mulletlook how packed the shed is. The crowd declared is no where near how many were there. Last game of the season 79/80 against Oldham. Was standing in the shed that day won 3-0 then had to wait 10 days or so for wspam to cock it up after the cup final and we lost out on promotion.

January 7, 201610 yr Attended both the Oldham home games, great memories ... The atmosphere at the 3-0 home game was electric and I'm sure a mob of CFC marched on the Iranian embassy siege afterwards and scattered all and sundry, captured on the news ...

January 9, 201610 yr Appalling decision on 4.30. Have watched a few clips from that era in the last few days. Ray Wilkins was every bit as good as I remember. We played some great football with a very young, home-grown side. It all went wrong when Eddie Mac walked out over a petty contract dispute. Shellito was totally out of his depth, and then came Blanchflower, relegation, Hurst and Gould. They were a grim few years. . At the time I remember thinking that Hurst was doing a great job on behalf of Wet Spam, Blanchflower for Spuds and Porterfield for Sunderland. Edited January 9, 201610 yr by shedhead
