See the disabled supporters by the cars make me wonder what happens today?

I recall at Wembley when we beat Boro there were loads in wheelchairs to our right near the front and half of them were Boro fans and as the whistle approached dozens of Chelsea approached the the boardings.

I can recall thinking surely they are not going to do over the Boro fans in wheelchairs and thankfully not they were just waiting to charge onto the pitch!

I was at this game with a gooner mate in the East Stand Arsenal made an appearance in the West Stand I posted the pictures a while back, but what I want to know is what's happening with the benches I don't recall it being like that more or less empty although it was 34 years ago and my memory isn't what it was !

I was sat in the West stand for that Arsenal game yonks back . My memory tells me that there was a mob of them 100 handed ? ,they was all sat up in the right hand corner at top of West stand if iam correct . I must have passed by the Arsenal mob as i got the impression that they had a few greeks or turks amongst them going on skin shade and looks ?

dont recall any punch ups in the West stand at all and cant Even say if the Arsenal lot got moved or stayed all the game tbh .

That was the sort of turnout you saw all the time late 70's early 80's our reputation had a lot to do with it but you could count the away supporters from the Shed even though they were so far away . So many of my mates at school either converted or started supporting Chelsea cause of our away support and we were a struggling second division team. Comparison from home attendance to away no one brought the numbers we did and that includes Man United and especially Liverpool.

Someone posted this on Twitter think it was the first time I sat at an away game. We were terrible but as usual our support was superb.

Thanks for that. Never seen the footage before.

Losing 5-2 to a team like Charlton. You don't see results like that these days.
