Thanks. Hadn't noticed that. Picture must have been taken before 1937 as that is when the D was added to the penalty box. Found this article about the development of rules since 1863.

I think we ran 3 specials to Derby as opposed to the normal 1- probably took 6000 up there.

Coming back on the train everyone was well pissed off to be out the cup. We were in one of those old BR carriages where the seats face each other drinking whisky and coke- we had a 2 litre bottle each. Remember PJ from Kennington falling asleep holding his bottle- we relieved him of it and necked it ourselves.

Went straight on to a disco at our local football club. Happy days indeed.

This seasons third kit is missing but also isn’t there a white shirt missing from around 2008, thought there was two similar white kits.

No it was Embassy Regal I smoked everything as a kid especially when buying singles Lambert and Butler, Peter Stuyvesant, 555 etc but never Regal all bloody horrible.
