I was thinking more Bono or Morten Harket (AHA) who ever it looks like, I don't ever remember that being match day attire!! 1984 surely it would of been Fila, Ellesse, Kappa, tachini or Lacoste polo!!

No that certainly wasn't match day attire. Your choice of sports clothing is correct.

If this is 1984/85 and I think it is.

Looks like Anfield.

Home we beat them 3-1

On 1st December 1984

In front of 40,972

Our scorers: 'King' Kerry Dixon 10th, Joe McLaughlin 49th and David Speedie in the 76th min

Then it was away on 4th May 1985. 11.30am kick off.

4-3 them.

Our scorers: Nigel Spackman 17th min (Pen), 'King' Kerry Dixon 48th min and Gordon Davies 71st min

Just realised how many games we played in a short space of time at the end of 1984/85.

Liverpool away on Sat 4th May at 11.30 am.

Sheff Wed at home on Monday, 6th May at 3pm.  (A May Bank Holiday Monday.) We won 2-1.

Luton Town at home on Wed 8th May 1985 at 7:30pm. We won 2-0.

Stoke City away on Sat, 11th May 1985 another 11:30am kick off. 1-0 us

Then, finally, Norwich City at The Bridge on Tues, 14th May 1985 at 7:30pm. 2-1 them

Mickey T scoring for us.

This home game was Joey Jones and Micky Thomas final appearances for us.

Rod Stewart AKA Paul Walsh, our kit even looks more iconic in black and white

Is Rod Stewart AKA Paul Walsh saying to Kerry about that classic shirt: "You Wear it Well."

Sorry, I'll get my coat.

Went to both games. We had a nailed on penalty not given and deserved a draw up at Anfield

This photo is advertised as young skinhead in the shed but I'm not convinced it is. I don't remember those adverts on the side and there was also a walk way by the white wall before you stepped onto the terrace. I don't think it's the Bovril entrance as that was open and this is covered. The poster seems to be QPR- Chelsea, Villa- Bristol City but no V so I don't think there fixtures just teams the Daily Express will be reporting on.
