From the game against West Ham in 1986 when we lost 4-0. A horrible day. Later in the season we won 2-1 at their place. Our winning goal was a cracking header from Nevin.

Losing to the bubble blowers is always hard to take but 4.0 at home. My heart aches.

Agreed.

They had a decent team back then. Thankfully they never won anything !

We'd have never heard the end of it.

We beat them 2-1 on 15th April 1986. Which was massive blow to their title hopes:biggrin:

Our scorers :Nigel Spackman 55th min and wee Pat Nevin 77th min .

In the end, they were only four points behind Liverpool, who won it.
