From the game against West Ham in 1986 when we lost 4-0. A horrible day. Later in the season we won 2-1 at their place. Our winning goal was a cracking header from Nevin.

Thats the 86/87 game not the 4.0 game, bloke on the left has Bates 86 badge on his ski hat, that badge wasnt used at the 4.0 game.

Alan Mayes of Chelsea and watched Mal Donaghy of Luton Town  at The Bridge on May 8, 1982

Donaghy would go on to play in the 1982 World Cup in Spain with Northern Ireland.

He would also go on to play for us in the 90's and scored a few goals too. I think he got our first in the 4-3 win against Spurs at home 94.

That brings back memories. My old man used to do one of them weekly.

He never ever won a single penny !

The cards in those bubble gum packs? I use to always get David Hay, or Duncan McKenzie! If we were little kids in the 80's,90's,2,000's, we could of got players like, King Kerry, Wisey, Guillet, Vialli, Zola, JFH, JT, Frank, Hazard etc, No, I was a young kid in the 70's and kept getting David f**king Hay!!!
