When Ray Wilkins left, Clive Walker was our most well known and Star player! A bit after it was Probably Mike Fillery especially with that cup run in 82, then THAT team arrived in 1983!

Have a guess who’s in goal in the top picture?

Choice of about 4 keepers I reckon? What I do know, is that I use to have a red games shirt, and those Chelsea Umbro diamond shorts and white socks and with my yellow Bonetti gloves would be up the park, I’m going for John Phillips as a left field guess?

Tommy Langley! Up at Norwich. Petar Borota cut his leg and needed stitches. We were losing 1-0 and only lost 2-0. !!!

it was on the big match, it wasn’t the main game in London just a few minutes I think the third game. Gerry Harrison as usual for Anglia tv.

Peter Borota... first Chelsea Keeper I really noticed, as a bit too young for the Cat, funny I might of mentioned this before, but about 15 years ago still playing football in goal, a through ball was played in and as I got to the ball first before the striker, in my best Pat Nevin style, I jinked past the centre forward and clipped the ball up the wing, as I jogged back to my penalty area someone in the crowd shouted it’s Peter Borota!! Bought a smile to me. As a 10 year old I wanted to be Peter Borota, at the age of 35 at the time, I’d finally made it!

Mentioned if before, the best thing I saw was at Orient away. Borota came out but needed to dribble, Orient player got a foot in causing the ball to go in the air. Borota then did an overhead kick about 35 yds out to clear!! We won 2-0 so it was ok! I’d gone straight from playing football for my school so a great memory for a 13 year old

I was at those Orient games both played on a Monday night as I recall. So many Chelsea bunked in by walking through the gardens that backed on to the away end. Could be wrong but I think it was the first time our firm sat in the seats first time I'd seen it anyway.  Fillery scored a screamer in the 1-0 and something I'll never forget a frog hopping about in the urinal and everyone (not me I was 14 and didn't have the range !) trying to piss on it
