Yeah and the whole Alien vs Predator series really pissed me off.  Why do they insist on ruining a good thing?  Alien games (and films!) should scare the sh*t out of you as a prerequisite. 

Exactly, those AVP sh*tty things were a bad cash in decision. IF the next game isnt Dead Space scary then they can sod off.

Bought that The Stanley Parable off steam. Was interesting. Pretty short, but fun going through and seeing what changes you can make to the narrator and the office each restart.

 

Witty at times, but no idea how it go so high ratings.

Dark Souls is insanely difficult. You can grind for souls and make the game easier on yourself because the regular mobs will just take one or two swipes to die. The bosses will always be ridiculously hard. I think that when I play Dark Souls I'm seeing what Hell looks like.

DA:O remains one of the best games I've played. The immersion, the story, the combat (KOTOR style) and the characters.

My wife has played it and really enjoyed it, I'm not too keen on witches, wizards etc normally, Dark Souls was an exception for me.

Got Dark Soulds 2 christmases ago. Never played it. Can't install it for some reason.

There really needs to be more games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Cant get enough of that sort of stuff.

Yeah me too, love that type of game. Kotor was also outstanding.

Elder Scrolls Online. I played the BETA a week ago. Once they improve the combat, it will be great.

There really needs to be more games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Cant get enough of that sort of stuff.

ESO should be really good. I have a few mates in the Beta and I've heard very little bad about it. Their basic complaint was the combat system but they have told me the devs are actively tweaking things so they have faith.

 

Ramigoal7, have you tried Guild Wars 2? I've finally decided to give it a go and the beginning Charr storyline is pretty good. Granted I don't have much time for a MMO but I bought the game a while back so why not test it out.

 

I can't wait to see Dragon's Age 3. I liked DA:O but didn't like DA2. I'm hoping DA3 is much better. So far, it looks good.

Me too, I'm a massive fan of the ES series. If you like character development and a massive world to explore, then chances are you'll enjoy it.

 

The only problem was the Combat. Hitting an enemy gives almost no visual or audio feedback. It was criticized massively for this, so I'm positive they'll fix it.
