Any game recommendation?

Saints 2 was a great game, then they spoiled it. Saints 3 was just shocking. They made it so stupid. I wont get number 4 until its about 10 quid in Game. Number 4 looks even more stupid than 3.

I think that's the whole point of them though. Saints Row 2 was so good because it was like GTA, more 'realistic' if I can use that word. And i think they wanted to stay away from the GTA series and give the SR series a new 'mad' feeling.

Problem is it's just got to the point of stupidity. If there is a SR 5, i just don't see where they can go.

One thing i will say is the "Insurance Fraud" side missions are probably the most fun I have had in a game! Whoever thought of that is a genius! I want to see more things like that.

Couldn't agree more. They also took away all the cheats that made co-op amazing in SR2.

Especially the pimp slap. Being able to slap your mate miles across the city is as good as it gets in a sandbox game.

SR2 and 3 were dead cheap a few months after launch, so hopefully number 4 wont take too long. No chance I'm paying £30 for it. Only reason I'll buy it is to play insurance fraud on co-op.

Just finished playing Outlast. Wasn't really scary apart from the occasional jump-scare, but it was a decent enough game and pretty damn good for an indie game.

Can't decide whether to buy Fifa 14 or Saints Row IV.

Or both.

If you've got any mates who occasionally visit you and know what FIFA is, you really can't do without. It's just so much fun to beat your mate at it.

Anyone get Batman Arkham Origins? I loved Asylum and City, this one doesn't look as good though, probably due to new developers and all. Curious as to how it plays.

Don't like the batman games, but Origins is really good according to my mate.

Really want a decent strategy game. A hard one. Tired of Civ 5 now. Any reccos?

Its abit old but Sniper V2 is a fantastic strategy/shooter game. Drove me nuts trying to complete it but well worth it. You can prob pick it up for £10

Bump both of them & get Halo 4. Cortana is worth the game.

Total War: Rome 2 is the biggest thief of time ever, one does not simply play a bit of that game, once you open there's no way back...

Finally got round to playing Far Cry 3 which has been sat on my PS3 for a few weeks now.

Getting bored of GTA Online so thought I would give this a go, like a lot of games it's a little slow to get going but now I have put a couple of hours in I'm really enjoying it and I'm doing most of the side mission hunts/assassinations as well.

The controls felt clunky at first but now I've settled into them it's much easier and I like that I have to craft my health etc rather than it just regenerating on it's own.

Good fun.

I have Far Cry 3, i got it not long after it came out and have barely played it. I probably should give it some time but i just wasnt that impressed with it. Dead Island was/is a far better game.

Dead Island was a lot of fun although I do get annoyed about having to constantly craft/repair weapons (the novelty quickly wears off for me).

I tried to play it again recently but by doing online co-op with randoms but I found it would become too laggy to the extent I found it unplayable.

Far Cry 3, next to GTA V and Tomb Raider, are my favourite games on current gen. Or should I say last gen?

My top 5 would probably be:

The Last of Us

Batman: Arkham City

Dark Souls

Red Dead Redemption

God of War 3

I quite liked that about Dead Island. Made it seem a bit more real (i realise thats a silly thing to say about a zombie game).

I started playing the latest tomb raider the other day, its not as good as i remember in the old playstation days.

I have the new batman game also waiting to be played. I may give that a bit of time this weekend.

The problem I found on my playthrough was that I would have one weapon that miles better than anything else I had so I was keeping lesser weapons on me to use whilst I waited to be near a workbench to repair my best weapon.

Once I got hold of the samurai sword at the prison I didn't use much else.

Same here, i have played it about 5 times now so i have about 6 different swards, all customed in a different way.

I'm playing through some of the Metal gear Solid games again, having bought the hd collection. Can't get to grips with the really old Nintendo style ones, so started with the PS1 Metal gear Solid, now onto MGS2 Sons of Liberty.,

Those are the best 2. I couldn't get into Snake Eater and quit 4 about halfway through, just too many movies and too convoluted a storyline, not to mention unexciting gameplay.
