Indeed Bluebur, it's the first time I've ever really broken free of EA's yearly cycle and I've been encouraged by the result.

I used to be a yearly Fifa buyer, but decided to skip 13 and wait for the next-gen 14.

Been playing through Mass Effect trilogy again recently, making different choices from the last time I did it.

ME1: Saved Kaiden instead of Ashley, Didn't recruit Wrex at all, Banged Liara

ME2: Jack died in the suicide mission even though she was loyal :(, Deleted Maelon's data, Destroyed human reaper, Banged Tali

ME3: Banged Allers and pissed off Liara now she won't talk to me

Dark Souls, killed 2 bosses so far but im now waiting for my mate to get it so we can do some co-op.

Meanwhile trying out XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Couldn't get into it, not sure why but something just felt off. It's still pretty fun, I like my turn based strategic games so I managed to preserve through it.

true sh*t, im a bit into the single player now and loving it!

It's an amazing game.  Too bad you didn't play it when it came out though, as now I imagine it doesn't quite seem as impressive as it really was when it came out.  The first time you make it out to the countryside, I still remember that moment...Wow.

If you like creative, independent games then the current Humble Indie Bundle is a cracker. Thomas Was Alone is one of the most enjoyable games I've played for ages and Dear Esther has had some great reviews. Pay whatever you want, get 5 games and help charity too. I think they're PC/Mac versions only though.

Has anyone been following the development of Watch Dogs? I'm actually more excited for it than i am for GTA V.

The ability to hack everything looks amazing. I particularly like that you can hack traffic lights and cause crashes when you need to get away from cops etc.

This video is getting my pumped, but November is so far away!

Hopefully E3 will reveal more about it!

Looks pretty cool.

All about The Last Of Us.

Only 2 weeks to go.

I'm more than a bit livid that it's a Playstation exclusive. Us Xboxers will have to go without...

I love the Playstation exclusives, some of my favourite games.

Conversely, I hate the Xbox exclusives i.e. Halo. I honestly don't know why it's so popular.

Never played it. But it's only about £2.30, so it's hardly a gamble. A decent sandwich at Tesco costs more than that.
