Any game recommendation?

Your character save data from the first carries over onto the new one too!

Bollox,

think I erased all my game details after I sold my last game.

have you played the game yet, is it any good?

You dont have to use the data from the last game. You can start from scratch. I did use the data from the 1st dead island just to make it a challenge. I started the game on level 56.

Yeah it is pretty good. If you liked the first one then im sure you will like the second one. Some of the new zombies are quite tough. You get one that looks like a thug but moves as quick as the fastest zombie and gets its health back if it lands an attack on you. Really tough to beat.

Games I've got but havnt finished yet, Bioshock infinite, dead space 3 and tomb raider - will wait till a rainy summer day or something!

Really lost interest in gaming lately though. Can't wait for GTA though

I was the same after completing the excellent Bioshock Infinite. But now I've bought COD: BO2, and I'm right back into it!

Really late to the party but I've just finished playing the Prototype games and I have to say they are fantastic, really enjoyed it. Would recommend if you haven't played them yet.

I'm loving Thomas Was Alone at the moment from the PSN. It's a sort of platform/puzzle hybrid and is highly recommended if you like fun and original games.

What's Prototype 2 like?

I completed the first one, it was a really fun game, loved flying around and throwing cars at people! But I thought the second one just looked like a re-hash of the first. Is this true?

Well to be fair there wasn't much wrong with the first one. They kept the core of the first game but improved on it greatly, I suppose in a way it is a re-hash but it's a bloody good one.

I tried the first Prototype but found it sh*t. I can't remember much about it, but I do recall that you could be standing right in front of a policeman, run up a building, jump down and crush a car and he wouldn't even notice.

You better be right Remodez, because I picked it up on the way home from work for a tenner! I will report back here soon with my verdict!

Can't go wrong with a tenner, surely?!

Played Binary Domain a few days ago, f**king amazing game. I didn't want it to end. I normally dislike shooters as well but this was expertly done, can't think of a single fault apart from the Multiplayer. Storyline was very good and quite thought provoking, voice acting spot on, the graphics were mind blowing, details in the battles such as shooting an arm off and having them bend down and use their other arm to pick the gun up were awesome. Honestly, one of the best games I've ever played.

If only Sega could promote their games properly this would have been way more popular than the current trash like Gears of War. Would strongly recommend buying/renting this if you come across it.

Is it available on Steam, do you know?

It was on sale only a month back on Steam so I would imagine it's still on there. Not sure how it plays on the PC compared to the console though, I've heard the controls on the PC are harder to get used to.

Im very bored so im about to try out dark souls, will I break my computer before I get passed the first boss or?

Keep your shield up and be patient.

I've finished the game a couple of times so drop me a PM if you want any help with anything.... Good luck (you'll need it).

Just snapped up NHL 13 and PGA 14, the last NHL game I played was NHL 11 and the last PGA game I played was PGA 12, so hopefully by skipping a release I'll have a more enjoyable experience.

There's nothing like the yearly grind of Sports titles, have to break the mould somehow.

Wow, I've had a first look at NHL 13 and it has come on leaps and bounds since 11, the visuals in particular have made a big jump in terms of quality.

The key is only buying every other iteration like you said. I had FIFA 11, but skipped out on FIFA 12 because i thought it looked too similar. When i got FIFA 13 i was blown away at how much better it was.
