Bought infamous: second son on saturday. Just playing it for the second time now.

First impressions are good, seems a visually stunning game and very fluid.

My only gripe so far is there doesnt seem to be any way to block bullets or hide behind cover which can be infuriating! Just switched off the PS4 in disgust

Just got this today, loving it so far. But as you say, not being able to take cover is irritating! You just have to smoke-dash out of the way of their bullets. 

 

Best graphics I've seen on the PS4 to date.

Never understood why that is so popular, it looks really boring.

Im still sticking by DayZ at the minute. Although i bought The Secret World in a steam special where it was reduced to just under nine pounds. Happy days.

It's the most overrated game for sometime in my opinion. I don't really like games that don't really lead to any sort of goal.

How is Day Z? I thought that looked quite fun.

Elder Scrolls online came out, so far so good...?

I REALLY wanted to get this, but was put off by the fact that you have to pay an additional monthly subscription fee to the game developers in order to play it or the game is useless. I can't stand that. Call me old fashioned, but you'd think that with the cost of these games (in excess of fifty quid) there would be no additional charges to play what you just purchased. Its like buying a house but still paying rent every month, even though you own it.

Day Z is okay, but there's not much to actually do yet, apart from run around collecting things and getting shot, thgen having to start again right at the beginning and go around collecting things again, then get shot again. You get the idea.

Yeah the standalone needs a lot of work yet.

 

Prefered the mod in Arma 2 as you can build bases, veichles and so on.. once the standalone gets all that in a patch it will be good.

Like Andreas says above The Mod is so much better than the standalone, unfortunate for my pocket i bought the standalone before i even knew the mod existed. So when im saying Day z i am meaning the mod more than the S.A. If anyone plays either though let me know. Ive been a bt of a lone ranger on so far.

Finished Dark Souls 2 last night, about to enter new game plus but just doing a few side quests and the like.

 

I decided to join the Dragon Remnants Covenant, which basically lets you fight other players... So far my success rate is winning probably 4 out of every 5 fights.

 

I've got some of the best pyromancy going which is fully leveled and scaled and so after winning over 20 fights I've got my full Dragon armour.... Come at bro. 

 

So I finally tried COunter Strike (Global Offensive?) [the latest one]. Really dull. Don't see what the fuss is all about.

Tempting to buy it... but its very hard to motivate myself to buy games on ps3 now I have the ps4.

Easily one of the best games I have ever played.

 

If I was you I would hold out and get the PS4 version that's coming out in June.

Took me about 19 hours to complete on the hard difficulty and then a harder difficulty is unlocked after that.

 

There's collectibles and stuff to try and find in the game as well...

 

There is online multiplayer which I really enjoyed, two team of 4 and the team that works together best always wins.

Assassins creed is dying imho. Avoid

I'm fighting the final boss on Infamous Second Son, great game!

 

I loved AC Black Flag, beautiful game. A lot of fun comes from sailing the seas, attacking ships and boarding them. You don't really have to have played the previous versions, no. I'm going to wait until Watch Dogs comes out for my next game.
