I platinumed Second Son last weekend so traded it whilst I could still get decent money for it, I'll pick up Watch Dogs next month if the reviews are decent.

Been playing Hotline Miami on my PS3 and Vita this week, it was the free game on PS+ this month and has been a fun game to play.

I've just recently gotten back into PC gaming and I've been wanting to play a really good FPS horror game.

 

My all time favorite game was DOOM 3, I remember playing that when I was a kid and I ran out of the room on the first level. Obviously since then I've completed the game a few times but it's one of my favorite games. I couldn't really find any games like it, someone recommended me F.E.A.R but I didn't really like it at all, not scary and the missions where very boring.

 

I got recommended the Metro: 2033 game, it seems pretty good but my save screwed up and I can't be bothered restarting it all again as I was in chapter 5. Anyone who could recommend me a game that I am looking for?

Went back to Arkham City at the weekend to attempt to get the Platinum trophy having previously beat the game on hard and NG+ and collected all 100 Riddler trophies.

 

I had to get all 108 campaign medals from the challenge maps and a really random trophy where you have to visit a character in the game on 12 specific dates of the year (semi-cheated by disconcerting the console from the internet and manually setting the date).

 

I was worried about the campaign medals because come of the challenges you need to do in the stealth maps are quite difficult but I surprised myself in being able to complete all of them within a couple of days.

 

I thought I was all done but it turns out I also need to complete all side missions in NG+ not just the normal game, I've completed all but one within 2-3 hours and so I should be able to finish off the last part this evening to achieve the platinum I was after.

Rumours of downgraded graphics in Watch_Dogs were greatly exaggerated, turns out! 

 

Latest gameplay video and interview. Graphics look sweet! I want this.

 

Finished Dark Souls 2 on PS3, sold that and bought the PC version. It's really so much better at 60fps 1080p. Shame the lighting is still horrible mind.

 

Did a sword and shield build last time, doing a mage this time. Not looking forward to the Shrine of Song without a bow and arrow...

 

Been playing a lot of handheld games too. Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright was an incredible game, really managed to combine the best bits of both series together, well worth playing if you're a fan of either series (or if you've never played either, it's a great introduction to the two series).

I play Dota 2 a bit.

Look's so similar to LOL, I uninstalled league of legends though, Got boring for me to be honest, I am now playing a little game called Dungeons of  Dredmor.

Yeha, LoL, Dota 2 and HoN are all based on the same old Warcraft mod, and have basically the same maps and heros. Personally I think HoN is the best looking of the 3, it has awesome music as well. But Dota 2 is a bit easier.

Is 'Outlast' any good?

It's not too bad. Probably worth the purchase if you like that kind of game.

Trying to decide wether to get a new pc again or just the ps4.

 

Watch dogs out soon but until autumn there aint really any games for the ps4? 

 

PC has dayz, H1Z1 and plenty of the same games thats coming for ps4 but im not sure I want to spend a lot of money on yet another computer,

I'm still getting hours out of Skyrim after all this time, trying out all manner of wacky builds.

I only recently made a Khajit hand-to-hand fighter which was surprisingly fun, I really hope they build on Khajit lore in Elder Scrolls VI but I get the feeling it will take place in Valenwood.

 

I used to play Battlefield 3's multi-player like mad though and when I upgrade to a next gen console in a few months time I'll then get Battlefield 4 and a few other games I've been tracking. Assassin's Creed V is set in Revolutionary France by the looks of it and Watch Dogs looks the bomb thus far.

Watchdogs coming out at the end of the month for PC.

 

Can't wait.

Anyone got any Steam recommendations at the moment? So many games to choose from, not sure what to try.

Bought that a while ago, but got bored of it, there was nothing to really do other than collect food and water and then get killed.

Just downloaded Star Wars: Battlefront 2 from Steam and I can't play it because they've run out of CD keys.

Anybody able to recommend some good multiplayer games to play on PS3? I don't mean online but more the old school split-screen or taking turns sort of thing.

 

Preferably cheap so I'm thinking old classics that I can pick up for a few quid second hand or PSN stuff. I haven't been paying much attention to the gaming world the last few years so I haven't a clue what's available.

Wolfenstein new order out next week (Tuesday for some reason) and it looks bloody excellent.
