You wouldnt have to. In the game i talked about you can play by yourself or you can play with others. I think the game was made for online but they just got it all wrong and added an online mode that meant nothing and was pretty disappointing and worthless. They should have made the main story line online.

Not impressed with this Wolfenstein thing. Main character has no personality whatsoever, just a generic gravely voiced American soldier. Every chapter is the same. And the AI is comical.

Just bought a game called "Crimsonland" on Steam.

You can say the same about the GTA series of games.

 

There isn't a lot game developers can do regarding gameplay. Yes, they can freshen it up by adding a new mechanic- in Far Cry's case, the grappling hook (though its already been used in the Just Cause series)- or add a gimmick like being able to switch between 3 characters (GTA), but other than that, yes- we have seen it all before. 

 

Anyway, I think it still looks like a lot of fun. The elephants getting involved in the action looks like a blast! 

I've been playing this game called guns of icarus and really enjoying it.

You form a team of 4 people and crew a zeplin in the sky where you dogfight other zeplin crews online.

It's a real team work based game and alot of fun if you get a good group together.

After seeing game play for The Witcher III, I decided to play though the series again.

I had the Witcher II but traded it in almost immediately. I guess I was just comparing it to Skyrim, which is better in every way. Though I see for the new one it's going to be open world so I might give it a look.

 

Anyone seen this? It stole the show at E3. It's called No Man's Sky. You can fly to planets in a ship, explore the flora and fauna, wander amongst dinosaurs and discover new species.

I don't know what people were expecting. Writing complex algorithms to hack stuff? That's absurd.

 

It was always going to be one-button stuff for hacking. I think it's a great game and will continue to play it.

 

How you getting on with Watch Dogs?

 

I'm up to 60% overall completion on everything but only just started Act 3 of the main story. 

See the GTA to next gen... Is it really going to be worth another £40 odd quid for a better frame rate and improved visuals?

I mean the missions ect will be exactly the same.

Still on Act II, just did the mission with that fat black dude called "Bedbug". I'm enjoying it. I love the side mission stuff, especially the Fixer contracts and the Gang Hideouts, loads of fun!

That's the one I've just finished as well.

 

I've done 99 of the 100 City Hot Spots, I can't find the last one but apparently some mission markers get hidden under the symbols for fixer contracts etc. 

 

I'm struggling with a couple of the QR codes because I can't find the camera to scan them but if I can't figure something out within a couple of minutes I'm leaving it to move onto something else so I don't waste too much time.

 

I'm aiming to platinum the game but I reckon the online trophies are going to be tricky, getting 10 successful backdoor scans without being spotted is going to be tough!
