He has stated that he will go where he thinks he will get the most playing time and not be sat on the bench out of the three clubs which are us, Manchester United and Manchester City, merge that in with high wages and the fact he wants to wear the number 10 shirt which Mata wears for us, Rooney wears for United and Dzeko with City. Will he take a massive U-Turn and go to a different club however, what do you all think?

Given that Manchester United already have three wingers as well and Manchester City have the likes of Nasri, Silva, Aguero etc.. plus Hazard do not suit there style of play as he is used to playing on the wing.

Is he worth it and who do you think has the best odds on chance of signing him?

Sorry if this topic has already been made!

City they have the most money and have just won the league

Yes but remembering that FFP rules come into power meaning City will surely have to offload players before they can go buying players for ridiculous prices again and Chelsea have also won the Champions League? I can see the point of view though..

I'd like to think we have...we need a quality winger....and maybe the lure of playing for the European Champions.....

F*ck me that feels great to type....European Champions!!!!

I think it is Man U as Chelsea don't even have a manager, let alone someone to tell him whether he is in his plans or not and where he is going to play... sh*tty have too many players in this position and he admitted he is basing the decision on how much playing time he can get. I wouldn't mind him with us, but I think there are alternatives if he chooses someone else - Lavezzi, I am looking at you.

He's going to United I feel.. Hope I'm wrong and Lukaku, De Bruyne and Joe Cole have had a cheeky word but my feeling is he is going United.

At united he is pretty much guaranteed playing time and also in his position. United will have a mini clear out this summer so I fully expect him to go there.

I'd hazard a guess he's going to Utd.

Though i am pretty confident that he would of made his mind up a while back if Bayern won the champions league.

man utd dont play a formation that includes his behind the striker position, its 442 or 451 at old trafford and rooney plays in that hole hazard is so desperate to occupy. would suprised if he didnt end up here tbh.

He's such a good player we should do everything to sign him, the thought of him going to one of the Manc teams concerns me. Also, if we sign Hazard we can forget about Hulk and all that faffing around with Porto and insane release clauses.

Hopefully Chelsea

I think we have a fair chance to sign Hazard, only worry is not having a manager in place yet, I disagree about Hulk though, we could and should sign a second wide forward/"striker". We wouldn't have the same urgency to secure Hulk with Hazard in place, also Hulk and his agent would have time to soften Portos rumoured price of £38-40mil.

United sometimes play 4-5-1 with Rooney in front. Hazard can easily play behind him. He will have the freedom just like Silva behind Aguero at sh*tty and Mata behind Torres at Chelsea. United's other formation is 4-4-2 with two typical wings - he can play in that formation too as he is a good winger. He certainly has a place at Utd, so that's where I think he'll go. I don't think we can promise him a place behind the main striker that he wants with Mata present.

Hazard is Left Winger/ AMC. Hulk is an RW - they have nothing to do with each other. And no one is suggesting we will activate Hulk's clause. If we buy him, it would be for half the clause most likely 30-37m pounds. Both Hazard and Hulk have a place in our squad, but on the wings and I don't think Hazard wants to play there and so does Mata so that is a problem.

It would be nice to get them both! I think Hulk would be the ideal player for us as he should make a great partner for Torres on the right of a front three, and is perfectly suited for the premiership, but the carry on with Porto makes it seem like we're destined to get stiffed with the transfer fee. But with Hulk and/or Hazard joining Mata, Marin, Ramirez, and the likes of McEachran and De Bruyne breaking through, we could be spoilt for attacking options next season.

Haven't we dreamed of that for ages? :D Ramirez, McEachren and De Bruyne can all play deeper role where Frankie is this season and I have a feeling one of the last two will be on loan somewhere (almost sure about Josh, but I can see De Bruyne being sent to a lesser team to gain first team experience in the Premier League - he will be in the starting 11 in any team in the bottom half, he is that freaking good).

I imagine Marin playing on the left wing by the way, and I was under the impression that Hazard plays anywhere across the pitch but tends to be on the right more than left? I could well be wrong about that though not being an avid follower of French league football.

He can play any attacking midfielder role, but from his interviews it sounds like he wants to be No 10 behind the striker as he feels best there (he used to be mainly a winger but played behind the striker last season and obviously enjoyed that).

Would make him and mata harder to mark if they both rotated between the left and centre during matches.

My thinking, the problem is we don't have a manager right now to decide on that and tell it to Hazard :)
