I reckon were in with a very good chance if you look at their 'Bench/reserve/second string' players last night compared to ours on Tuesday.

Alan

Yeah, its probably because all ours are foreign players we bought for large amounts of money from South America, Africa or Europe, whereas their reserve and youth players are 90% british, from the local area aswell, brought through the ranks from a very early age like Beckham, Scholes, Giggs Neville's etc and most of them actually grew up supporting united just like the afformentioned players which is something to be extremely proud of in my opinion.

two out of ten, I'm afraid. A very poor attempt. This boy will not go far in this life unless he pulls his socks up.

It is true though no? It's a shame we don't bring more English talent through although going abroad means their obvisually a lack of English potential.

No subtlety at all, lack of inventiveness, just no direction. So its a 1 out of 10 from me I`m afraid.

You're clearly a United fan, but that's OK. What part of Surrey are you from?

Just for posterity:

De Gea - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd.

Buttner - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

Wootton - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd (not Liverpool)

Vermiji - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

M Keane – ok.

Anderson - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

Cleverley - ok

Fletcher - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

Rooney - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

Hernandez - Local British lad who grew up supporting Utd

Welbeck – ok.

3/11, 90% my foot. One more than our 2 (JT and Bertrand) yet looked much, much worse

Well that was productive of you wasn't it you fool?

Oh, and it looks like the only person that is gone for ever is you thankfully.

Cheers mod.

It is true we don't bring enough english talent through the youth but it isn't true that united do .Look at the post above me and it shows the manc is clearly bullsh*tting!

Will be an interesting mostly reserve bench game to follow up the prem game. Be curious to see what the result of that game will have as an effect on the roster selection for this match
