Defense was actually pretty good until the 70 minute mark then he totally bossed England. I know it's weird for me to enjoy seeing England get r***d so badly (me gusta?) by one player but a couple of things make it so funny...

  • The whole farsical saga with JT and the FA has made me pretty bitter towards the England national side.
  • Cahill is going to need PTSD therapy after facing Ibra...
  • Ibra just owned Steven Gerrard like a total boss, what a way to prove a point.
  • Dat 4th Goal... Easily on par if not better than our own Oscar's goal vs Juventus: 30-yards-out overhead kick? f**k physics!
  • I'm waiting for the "Ibrahimovic" thread to appear in Rumors. :laugh2:

I didn't watch the game either. In fact I didn't even know the result till this morning. And I have to say it comes as something of a relief. Imagine if England had won, we'd have to endure an endless w**kfest over "Steven Gerrard's inspirational leadership". As it stands what better way to remember Steven Gerrard's 100th England cap than with another England defeat under the captaincy of the self same Mr G.

I thought Ibra peaked while he was at Inter, how wrong I was, he just gets better and better the older he gets.

Imagine having him in front of Hazard, Oscar and Mata.

Amazing strike but Hart was incredibly poor.

Doesn't seem to talk to the defence at all (see the Cahill/Hart mixups) and doesn't seem to take command like he needs to. The goal from the free kick was poor, the ball went where he should be covering and he got nowhere near it. Wasn't exactly a rocket of a shot and it bouncing doesn't explain how Hart didn't get across.
