Saw him live against Rosenborg, the goal he scored was an absolute cracker. looks like a squad player that can play some different positions. Gotta be honest though, he didnt strike me as anyone we would be after, but to be fair I was quite drunk

Maybe thats what he would be. A Kalou type player.

We don't really need another 'squad player' we have enough in Marin, Moses and Studge.

We need a player to come in who will hit the ground running and who scores goals for fun, anything else will just paper over cracks.

Studge wont be here much longer. Marin isnt a striker and i dont think Moses would make a good striker either. Im not saying only buy him. Im saying him and one other.

From what I have seen he is not a goalscorer so it's pretty much pointless as this is what we need.

Buying for the sake of it imo with this lad.

Seems like we could be in the market for a striker as back up for Torres, rather than a striker to replace, or even challenge Torres.

I have massive doubts that we will sign this player, relatively unheard of, no Brazilian caps so will struggle to get a work permit and even under the special talent rule I don't think he has the skills to pay the bills

I don't see the point, surely there are better ENGLISH players out who are already adapted to the league and could be a squad player. What is the point trying to bring in an unproven Brazilian striker ? Sometimes i do question the way we do our transfers.

According to numerous media outlets Taison Freda was present at Stamford Bridge watching the Fulham game at the invitation of Roman Abramovich.

Yet to find any pictures confirming this but a lot of them are running with it.

If we go out of the CL and therefore miss out on Falcao we couldn't do much worse than to sign this guy, could pay off for the price we pay.

Apparently all that is holding up this deal is work permit issues but Chelsea will appeal for it.

Considering some of our best players right now are Brazilan I don't know why you said this... Which English striker do you have in mind that's available btw?

Maybe if we had a look we would find one. And you say our best players are Brazilian, no ONE of our best players is Brazilian, the other 3 are ok and we could do better.

I'm just saying surely there are better English players to target that are better than this guy. 16 goals in 66 appearances playing in an average league doesn't fill me with confidence.
