I will be very interested to see if Sneijder leaves Inter Milan and see what club he joins. I think he is a class player, but because of his wages and the fact that we are pretty covered in that position i don't see any point in us going in for him.

Walcott saga is on-going with him and his representatives set to meet Arsenal top-brass tonight.

If nothing comes of it I can see us making a swoop for him.

I think he will sign, he is getting what he want's right now so i can't see him leaving. Either way by tomorrow we should know for sure if his future is with Arsenal or somewhere else.

Still hoping the deal for Ba falls through. I want no part of that twat.

Depends if they invest elsewhere, they may have a great strikeforce but they won't play more than 2 (3 max) at a time, and nearly every other position on the field is weak.

Personally I'm going to be absolutely f**king gutted if we don't get him. Joint second top scorer in the league, great finisher, great work rate and just has a natural ability to score goals from very little.

Apparently we are going to get Ba on a 3 and half year deal. Usually it's a 4 or 5 year deal, i suppose this protects us if he has any trouble with that knee.

Me too and I agree with the rest. I think fee is not going to be big because he only has 6 months left of his contract with Bilbao.

It seems like Joe Cole is going back home to West Ham then. It took a while for me to get over him joining Liverpool but since he hasn't helped them in any way it's been easier to deal with it. I can't hate the guy, he has given me so many good memories and i wish him all the best when he goes back to West Ham. As long as he doesn't score against us i will be fine.

Nah, i'm not to fussed on Llorente, i think he will do well for Juventus though, it shouldn't be too hard getting a game with them.

Difficult to say what his price will be before the deal is done. He might not even come to Juve before his contract runs out, which should mean he wouldn't cost anything.

Interesting that you should say that - do you feel that way because of his behaviour on the contract renegotiations? My mate who supports Newcastle, while he agrees with me that Ba's ability, work rate and performances are excellent, says he will be glad to see the back of him for the same reason.

Yeah, as far as I know it's been reported by several people and it's doing the rounds on twitter. He's even landed in London to negotiate apparently!

 

I haven't found any massively reliable sources but it sounds realistic to be fair.
