Totally agree. First transfer window in a long while where I've been impressed by the deals we've cut. Let's get that £28M kitty put to good use!

I'm gutted he's gone, I really thought he'd become a true Chelsea Legend, but £28 million is a lot of money, that TV deal has really changed the Financial ball game this season. Everton doubling their transfer record is insane.

I'm still made up with the business we have don't this window, I think we are in dire need of letting Torres go and brining in a top class player to replace him. We've improved the weakest link in the squad but I'd be really fearful for our chances if Costa got an injury.

I mentioned this last summer but didn't want to believe it. 

 

Still I don't feel as bad about Lukaku as I did with the Sturridge fiasco because simply I don't rate him as highly. 

 

I still think he should have been our #1 striker last season and if he was around we might have won the League. 

 

At least we now have Costa and not Eto'o/Ba/Torres

 

Expect us to use the money and buy an English/Homegrown striker now

 

 

I don't have hard feeling for Lukaku, I think it's best for him to play regularly even if its with a team like Everton which is obviously a step down.

That's the worry is if we are going to actually replace him or not

If we can get Marin, Mikel and Torres off the books and bring in another decent striker then it will be a very succsesful window. Otherwise, I still worry about our striking options a lot, we will be pinning our hopes solely on Costa, in his debut PL season. That's a lot of pressure.

We could still loan Bamford out and have people like Shurrle, Hazard, etc... fill in if we were desperate (or Torres if they are all injured). But another striker would be a good idea, even if it's just on loan. Maybe we could loan Remy for a year or something.

Well what do you want from me, I'm not the one who just sold Lukaku... I'd have kept him.
