Posted March 27, 201311 yr Ok Ashley Cole is a given and for me so is Azpi but who is our best central defensive partnership? Does it need any strengthening from purchases or players currently out on loan?
March 27, 201311 yr Luiz is playing well at the moment. I think, due to the similar quality of each of our CB's, they should be selected based on form and opposition.
March 27, 201311 yr Terry and Luiz for me still. Bran is better as a RB, and if he can find some form could challenge Dave for that spot again
March 27, 201311 yr It's Terry and anyone else for me, for me there isn't one better combination over the other. Â I would still rather have Luiz in midfield. The guy's passing style is suited to DM and because he is so used to being a defender he would know when to track back. I think in defense he still likes to play around too much and i notice that he get's beaten by balls over the top a lot. Edited March 27, 201311 yr by Scott Harris
March 27, 201311 yr I think before Rafa, Cahill was immense, he has definitely not been the same since, but then again doesn't that apply to alot of our squad?  dave cahill terry ash  at least until Luiz is a bit steadier at the back
March 28, 201311 yr Hiddink came in as a tempory manager and really made players perform at their peak. Look at the effect it had on the likes of Malouda. Rafa has come in and dragged players down. The football we was playing under Robbie was good to watch. The players (well most of them) looked well up for it.
