best home games I saw live?

1. man u in the league cup - great game 5-4 last min pen by hazard to take to ET
2. shakhtar Donetsk -  3-2 last min goal by moses I was in the MHL and a lot of people had left and I had a great view of the goal me and my mate just went mental when we got the goal people flying about drinks flying did not care we had to wait ages for the train home after the game

best away games I saw live?

1. aston villa 2-1 Lampard hits two goals to become Chelsea's all-time leading scorer when he got the 2nd one every one went mental

2. spurs 4-2- great game

   man u in the fa cup 2-2 - got the Chelsea coach up there took so long to get there then being 2-0 down at HT gone all that way for f**k all but all the 5000 of us who went up there was out singing them when being 2-0 down then we killed them 2nd half getting it back to 2-2 should of won in the end. long day up a 7 am and not home to 2 am

Best away Watching us smash Spurs sat in their end & having the perfect view of our excellent vocal away support.

Wished i'd gone to, to many to mention but the main one & obvious, Europa final in Amsterdam.

 

Wished i'd never gone to, none no matter what the score i never regret watching Chelsea.

Best..  Man u league cup. (loved Oscar giving as good as he got in a touchline 'tussle' with Nani, who then had to suffer a chorus from the MH of.. "sh*t Micheal Jackson, you're just a sh*t Micheal Jackson..)

 

Worst.. Man city FA semi final. sh*t atmostphere, couldn't stand up for more than ten seconds without someone telling you to sit down.. totally f**ked it for me, and we lost of course which doesn't help !

 

Wish i could have gone to the Europa final

 

Went to 2 games last year, both at the Bridge. The 8-0 drubbing of Villa was a terrific evening and Hazard's dribbling can only be properly appreciated in person. The defeat to QPR however was less fun...

talk about highs and lows.....

I wish I didn't come all the way over for the home game against Liverpool.

Utterly abysmal.

Hah, yeah bluelion probably went to our best and worst games right there in terms of results :)

 

I went to some cracking games the season before (the CL/FA Cup run) but nothing stands out for me last season.

 

Worst without doubt was the Sparta Prague game... it was utterly f**king freezing, there was an awful smell (someone mentioned that the sewage outside the ground was broke?) and it was the most dull game of football I can remember.

 

Was only saved from another 30 minutes of pain by a last minute Eden Hazard wonder goal... thank you Eden! Normally I love extra time, but was so relieved that was over.

Best, Europa League final. F.A cup v Man United, first match, not the replay. Carling cup matches v Man Untied and Leeds. League match against Tottenham where Mata destroyed them. Champions league match against Juventus, Oscar's amazing performance.

 

Worst, Super cup defeat. World club cup defeat. losing 3-0 to Juventus to knock us out of the group stages of the Champions league. Losing in the league to United thanks to the ref. Losing 1-0 to QPR. Losing against West Ham even though we completely dominated the first half. All those annoying 2-2 draws.

The Villa game was also one of my two matches, the other was the WBA game which we won thanks to Ba's goal.

 

The WBA game was pretty one-sided but for me the most memorable moment was when Benitez got booed when he picked up the ball after it had gone out for a throw-in.

Only been at 3 because I refused to go when **** took over but the highlight for me was Oscars goal v juve magic. It was my neices first game and she was looking the other way towards the Mhl.

Only live game I went to turned out to be a cracker. The wife accompanied me from australia on business trip and we saw spurs away sitting with the Chelseas supporters. Younger fella next to us had his shirt off and was egging on spurs fans just across aisle. Wife (who is not really a sports fan) said she could smell the testosterone coming off him, but I saw her standing up and singing songs with the best of them "you'll never sing our song" being the best of them.

Absolute magic game, started with Mikel, doing a triple twirl with the ball first time he had it while covering half the pitch and ended with danny I think it was getting a good goal. In between saw Torres miss a goal he should have scored, told me something about him.
