Hi guys - we are doing some videos on the top 10 transfers during this window.  Wondered how your new and returning faces were settling in and who you thought will impress this season out of the likes of Schürrle, van Ginkel, De Bruyne and Lukaku? 

 

Aside from Chelsea, any other signings impressed you this window?

I think Kevin De Bruyne will make his mark on the Premier League this season.

Judging by pre-season and the first 2 games of the season they will all impress especially KDB.

Soldado was a brilliant signing for Spuds, we really should have gone for him at that price (instead of our ridiculous pursuit of Rooney), For our new signings, its too early to tell, De Bruyne looks the real thing, and I haven't been overly impressed by Lukaku, but I think its a case of adjustment, optimistic about his future though.

I really like KDB, his attitude and confidence along with an undoubted skill set should see him do well here.

 

I think Jesus Navas is going to have a great season for City and their strikers are going to love him.

Actually it was the worst sale. No club in their right mind would sell the top scorer of the league for 24M. Last year of the contract or not, Arsenal should've held on to him and they could've won the league or at least finish 2nd.

For me its:

 

1. De Bruyne

2. Lukaku

3. Schurlle

4. van Ginkel

 

But all we're pretty impressive. Van Ginkel has more growing to do but Schurlle looks at absolute threat to score, while De Bruyne as an excellent passing and shooting game that might make him one of the best top 3 in our attacking mids.

Aspas reminds me a lot of Michu last season, said when they signed Michu he would be the signing of the season and I feel the same way about Aspas. 

 

For us I think it will be Van Ginkel for sure.

Thanks guys, liking the views.  Sounds like you're pretty happy with the signings then.  Saw a lot of De Bruyne for Bremen last season and he really impressed.  Any other areas of the squad you think need to be improved, or are you just looking for a striker?  Or do you think Lukaku can be that man?

They had added some decent players and with RVP leading the line the platform would've been set for a serious challenge for the league. But again Mr. Wenger chose to set his team back yet again by selling their best player. Utd, City and Chelsea were in a bit of a mess last season and with RVP leading the line they could've done it.

Schurrle for sure. Got high hopes for him in a blue shirt.

Also, I don't know if it's the right thread to be posting this, but has anyone heard of any interest from Mourinho for Lewandowski?

I cannot, for the life of me, remember where I read that. It went something like rather than selling to title rivals in Munich, Dortmund are considering selling him to Chelsea, before they lose him for nothing next year.

Lovren for Southampton, i think he is a very good CB.

Van Ginkel will be the surprise package of the season, mark my words.
