Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

That article was a bunch of guesswork that me and you could have come up with, I wouldn't take it as fact.

Why do you think it was guess work, and if so why have you never felt the need to question any of the reports over our wage bills etc.

Just so you know, I`m fairly sure all wages need to be included in financial information.

Well for a start, the most recent wage bill he used in the article for us was back in the 12-13 season, quite a few of our player have signed new contracts since then. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he has accounted for new contracts Arsenal players have signed as the wage bill he used is their most recent one.

He's also assuming that we aren't paying anything towards Torres's wages, which we all know is very unlikely. He doesn't really specify just how much "over £180m" actually is when talking about Arsenal's wage bill but mentions our wage bill after departures of Lampard, Cole and Torres has been virtually static at just £176m, so he is effectively saying that we got Costa, Luis, Fabregas and Remy for less than £4m a year, which again is very unlikely.

And probably the most obvious one as it's in the first few paragraphs, he's literally just adding Arsenal's new players wages onto their current wage bill without accounting for players they have sold who were on big wages such as Sagna.

I do question our wage bill when people use it in ridiculous arguments and comparisons such as these and saying we are kiling the game. I take what is said on weain'tgotnohistory with a pinch of salt as well but at least they put more effort into it than this particular article. If the search function was any good on this site I would gladly show you instances where I have questioned it.

I dont think swapping Lampard/Cole/Torres/Luiz/Eto`o/Ba/Lukaka for Costa/Fabregas/Felipe/Remy/Drogba would be much different in wages.

QPR are so going to get relegated.

Fingers crossed! Straight to the conference if they don't pay their FFP bill!

Make that 3-0, Never comment on how bad your rivals are playing until the final whistle has been blown, They can hear your comments you know, I bet Ozil was thinking 'You know what mate, We're going to make you eat your comments'.  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

I'm just going to shut up now.

Haha, See if doing the reverse works, Start complimenting how good Arsenal look and how they are serious title contenders etc etc, You never know, We might end up seeing a repeat of that 4-4 draw against Newcastle from a couple of years ago.

Ha, Arsenal fans think Ozil has been brilliant now that he has scored and got an assist. Arsenal haven't been great, Villa just imploded, Ozil was as anonymous as ever before he scored.

He had a good 70 seconds or so, invisible before and invisible after. Still that'll be the 70 seconds that gets them the 3 points today.

Newcastle fans are awful. I've never known another set of fans who show so little support to their manager.

Especially when he hasn't exactly done much wrong. Mike Ashley is the one that sells the clubs best players and then gives Pardew little money to bring in any quality replacements.

Not just Pardew though, they do it all the time as soon as things start going badly. What do they expect? They are not very good, they aren't going to win things or get into the Europe very often.
