September 16, 201411 yr Just watched the highlights after managing to avoid the scores...as amusing as it was to arsenal getting completely shat on, my mood soured with that keeper gifting Liverpool an undeserved three points...what a tool or was he on the take?
September 16, 201411 yr Nope, just overanxious. This was his first game for the club, probably his first ever in the CL (as was for everyone from Ludogorets). He only received permission to play today or yesterday as they have a bit of a keeper crisis.
September 16, 201411 yr The dippers made him look world class and it took 1 moment of magic and a very dodgy Anfield penalty from a suspect ref to win it.
September 17, 201411 yr It's not even about freedom, he doesn't need a lot of space to operate. I'm sure he has got into dangerous positions but it's, generally, not in areas that make full use of his talents. Him not producing isn't just down to him though, I think Ramsey has been awful and his trademark runs have been nowhere to be seen. Sanchez is the only one making those runs and most of the times Ozil is on the other wing rather than being in the middle picking out those passes. I agree he off form (Disagree regarding his Germany performances, he wasn't outstanding but was much better than their other options on the wing such as Gotze), I mentioned that earlier but I think that's mainly due to the position he's been asked to play. It's different from the one he had last season, I don't understand why Wenger would change something that was working well. The whole team looks worst off in the current system. Mostly agree with that. The only other thing would be that Arsenal since...what about 2007...haven't had a truly competent DM. It is and has been a glaring deficiency in there midfield. Wenger has tried to shoehorn Arteta into that role with paltry result.
September 17, 201411 yr Another night another cheap Gerrard penalty, and Ballo has proved to be world class against some team no one has ever heard before
September 17, 201411 yr Another night another cheap Gerrard penalty, and Ballo has proved to be world class against some team no one has ever heard before I remember when Liverpool fans would say that all Lampard does is score penalties ( even though that was bullsh*t ) Now look at their saint Gerrard, scoring penalties is all he has been doing for the past 2 and a half years.
September 17, 201411 yr Can't see the Arse or the Dippers challenging for the title this season based off their last few performances and how totally inept all their summer signings seem to be bar Sanchez and Moreno.
September 17, 201411 yr Liverpool win because of another dodgy pen then? Doesn't surprise me. Nope they have started the ball rolling again with them.
September 17, 201411 yr To be fair, I think the dippers miss Sturridge more than they even knew they would. His movement and shots can't be replaced at pool right now by anyone on their roster.
September 17, 201411 yr They're not rivals, but I thought it was an interesting (albeit disgusting) article I found on Yahoo http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/soccer-dirty-tackle/swiss-goalkeeper-threatens-to-sue-fans-who-urinated-in-his-water-bottle-during-match-182116914.html Fans can be weird Edited September 17, 201411 yr by soldiergirl84
September 17, 201411 yr just saw the game highlights, that pooh penalty was a pure gift from the GK. He should have hoofed the ball into touch and the game would have been over, instead we will hear about the heroics of Saint Gerrard for weeks.
September 17, 201411 yr just saw the game highlights, that pooh penalty was a pure gift from the GK. He should have hoofed the ball into touch and the game would have been over, instead we will hear about the heroics of Saint Gerrard for weeks. He's sh*te. What does the world class Gerrard offer? He does his Hollywood passes of which only 1 out of 50 come off, he's crap in the tackle, has zero pace and is vastly overrated at set pieces. I swear the dippers always compare Gerrard to the likes of superstar midfielders like Yaya or hazard. The guy hasn't been relevant outside of Liverpool for 5 years. Best decision Chelsea made was not signing him.
September 17, 201411 yr Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, wishing him a speedy recovery.
September 17, 201411 yr I suppose it's cheaper than buying a new shirt but it looks tatty. http://metro.co.uk/2014/09/16/arsenal-fan-makes-horrendously-crude-attempt-at-transforming-old-robin-van-persie-shirt-into-jack-wilshere-replica-4871103/
September 17, 201411 yr Greg dyke is proposing further restrictions on non eu players. It will stop players getting work permits unless they are first team players. Surely it would just mean we would carry on as usual and loan players abroad until they can get a wp, or we sell them on. It's a nice gesture but the only way we would see more English players, would be if clubs had to have a minimum of say 5 english players in their starting 11. I think in the long run it will decrease the overall quality of the league, and I doubt any of the big power clubs would vote in favour of it. Not to mention it would limit the global appeal of the premier league brand aswell.
September 17, 201411 yr Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, wishing him a speedy recovery. Awful news, hope he recovers, always liked him.
September 17, 201411 yr Anyone see that Liverpool banner last night? 'Don't bomb Iraq, Nuke Manchester', That's how dumb they are they think the war on Iraq hasn't started yet Lol
September 17, 201411 yr The thick C***s also dont realise that if someone nuked Manchester Liverpool would also be destroyed! Actually that would be win win for us!
September 17, 201411 yr Poor show from the English clubs last night. Liverpool are going to need a lot of time to find some fluency in their game. It's not easy to do when you've sold your best player and brought in several in all positions - just look at Tottenham last season. I just can't understand what Arsene Wenger is thinking tactically sometimes, or does he even bother with tactics? Can you think of another manager in Europe that would go to a team as fluid in attack as Dortmund and decide to play an open game? That's suicide, especially when your holding player can't really keep up with the pace of the game any more and when you've only got 4 fit defenders! And it's not like this is the first time they've been ripped apart by top opposition. It seems as though Wenger will always just say to his team 'go out and play' - How can he be so blindly idealistic? Pragmatic football is what wins you titles in the big games, leave the pretty stuff for when you play the lesser teams at home in the league. Edited September 17, 201411 yr by Celery1989
September 17, 201411 yr Jack Wilshere faces another spell on the sidelines after injuring his ankle in last nights game against Dortmund, If smoker boy Jack isn't careful he will be winning the treatment room table Ballon D'or ahead of Abou Diaby and Jack Rodwell.
September 17, 201411 yr good for you two. as for me, I hate those stinking bar stewards. I will agree w/ this gentleman's take on manure: He`s right you know
September 17, 201411 yr They must love having assholes on TalkSport, they have Piers Morgan presenting today. He's going on about the invincible's team saying they were the greatest premier league team ever. I think he'll find that our team a year later was better.
September 17, 201411 yr The thick C***s also dont realise that if someone nuked Manchester Liverpool would also be destroyed! Actually that would be win win for us! That's harsh. But fair!

Just when you thought the inane twattery on that station couldn't be topped. What is it with gooners they have to tell all and sundry every chance they get who they support. The tramp biting Alan Davies is the same.
