Adrian Chiles actually said to Robbie Fowler "how does it feel to be in the tunnel, listening to that atmosphere? "

Or words to that effect, couldn't make it out properly as it would appear as though Chiles had as many scouse cocks as he could fit in his mouth in 1 go!

I hate the British media's love in with the dipping scum.

Interesting, Adrian needs to do some better research, I believe Fowler never actually played for Liverpool on one of there "famous champions league nights" at afield

There must be something wrong my TV, the sounds seems to be broken. I can t hear that "famous anfield atmosphere" at all.

That little juggle was class, not sure if it was intended though

It wasn't at all. I think he was trying to back heel it and completely messed up but it all worked out in the end. The run was great though and the finish assured.

You can but you have to turn your TV to Dortmund-Arsenal...

Scouse fans must be wondering whether the CL was worth the wait.

A 0-0 this evening would be priceless.

Halftime scores:

Juve 0-0 Malmo
Olympiakos 2-1 Atletico
Liverpool 0-0 Ludogorets
Real 4-1 Basel
Benfica 0-2 Zenit
Monaco 0-0 Leverkusen
Dortmund 1-0 Arsenal
Galatasaray 0-0 Anderlecht

If you are from Australia or from anywhere else in the world and not from Liverpool, yes you are less of a supporter. You're an onlooker, and should feel privileged to even hold such status. You have nothing to do with Liverpool, not the culture, not the match day support, literally nothing bar the occasional LFC product you buy to support the club financially. Your moaning contributes nothing.

I'm from the States, and I acknowledge my place in the fanbase. Don't mean to sound righteous but you need to learn what it means to be foreign supporter. This club doesn't belong to us, it belongs to people who attend the games week in/out, and their predecessors. LFC is integral to the collective identity of those people, they're the ones that made it into what it is today. You can hardly say the same thing.

Liverpool will always be something to the people of Liverpool, if it didn't reach the same heights through the 2000's because of the foreign support, it would be nothing to you, I and every other foreign supporter. Acknowledge the difference before making ridiculous and offensive claims.

My advice, save money, go to Liverpool, attend a match, and you'll be humbled in such a profound way that you'll understand your position in regard to LFC.

Alternatively, listen to Shanks.

That is some seriously unbelievable stuff....and from an American too. Wow.

I've been watching Liverpool v Ludogoters (I sort of have to - this is a major thing for Bulgarian football) and I swear to you - you couldn't tell which team is home and which is away. Bollocks to their Big European nights TM

This is supposed to be their dream coming through, the game they've been waiting 5 years for and their precious fans are getting outsung by a the fans team nobody here knew anything about 4 years ago. The team is giving a performance to suit as well - Lallana especially is dire - he is the new SWP.
