Seems some are actually worried way they're acting on here. United shouldn't get carried away from 1 result but they are in a very similar position to what Liverpool were last season so wait and see I say rather than panicking or pretending to not be worried.

they'll continue to smash sh*t teams and will post some big scores, but they'll struggle against the best teams in the league - they might finish in the top four.

Hogan,

Why should any Chelsea fan worry about United?

Chelsea keeps winning and I have no problem with some other squads. Certainly, manure will be the last club on my mind.

The current Man Utd w**k fest is ridiculous. On the BBC this morning we have "From Fellaini to Falcao: Man Utd's fortunes revived during a 4-0 thrashing of QPR, Manchester United discover what difference a year and £126m can make"

It's the subheading that gets me. That's £126m spent and they managed to beat QPR 4-0 (who were terrible and have lost two out of their four games so far this season 4-0; I don't remember the same fuss being made after Spurs spanked them) and suddenly they're BACK and the previous draws against Sunderland and Burnley and the opening day defeat by Swansea are all but forgotten. They have a better attack and midfield than last season and Di Maria is a classy player, but one decent performance against one of the worst teams in the PL is really not that big of a deal. The Man Utd supporting media hacks and pundits really need to reign themselves in and keep a little perspective.

Don't forget the 4-0 drubbing by MK Dons (yes it counts). The deal is that England wants to believe in one of their dirty red sides. From my side of the pond, the press can't take the reality that CFC or Man City are the best in the EPL. There is always hope (because it always has happened this way) that one of the dirty red sides will pull it out in May & be crowned Champions.

As I said before they've won the league before with only 4 points at this stage, writing them off is stupid.

Hogan,

Nothing is more important than for you to make out a bit of adding. Currently, 7 points in front. Do you think Chelsea will drop 3 games to allow United to catch up and United wins their all games from today on? Lol.

Anything is possible in football, I'm not stupid enough to act like anythings impossible.

Hogan,

Of course anything is possible, but very impropable. The squad that wins the title usually don't drop more than 5 to 6 games and I believe, Chelsea can do it. Even I see them losing less than 5 games.

Just remember not to take anything for granted.

One word - NOVEMBER.

If you have been paying attention to our results in this month in recent seasons you will know what i mean.

Harris,

Well previous November might not be used as comparables to this season.

I consider that this is a season of change. This club score, plays some fine football and Jose is not dying to allow any major blimp.

Well said.

I'm hoping this year is different there but there's the key word hoping. I'm not expecting anything.

The commentator of the Hull v Wet Spam match got it right by saying, 'it's officially a ridiculous football match'. Especially since this match is played on a rugby pitch

Sage,

You have excelled yourself. What in the name of sanity does "Jose is not dying to allow any major blimp" mean. Major Blimp

sounds like a character from a bad Ealing comedy.

I agree with Bobbywoodhogan in that any favourite for the title can slip up, we did last year, as did Liverpool, and Man Utd should not be written off for the title, and certainly not top 4. I don't think they will win the title but they could be near, come the end of the season.

Some of our fans have become terrible, just like maanu fans of a few years ago, when they just assumed they were untouchable. We might go on to win the league and I bloody hope we do but it won't be won as some are suggesting, at a canter. It will be tight, we will drop points that we shouldn't drop, there will be unexpected results. That's why we all love the game. Please leave the arogance for teams in red!

To say, United are in for the title is just laughable. Currently, Chelsea is already 7 points ahead of them. That means Chelsea would need to drop 3 games for United to get ahead of them. Probably nothing to worry about. Chelsea will maintain their distance from United.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. United have a wonderful offensive front and may lack a midfield and back line but I am sure they will strengthen this January with what it seems endless amounts of money. As for being up 7 points, we'll ask any Arsenal supporter how easily that gap can be made up. I get what you are saying but for me we need to get through Nov-Jan (normally a bad part of the season for Chelsea) before we even think about the finishing first. It is a long, long season and we are only a few matches in. Frankly I don't count any of the potential top four clubs and that includes United out of this race.
