September 16, 201411 yr The self flagellation coming from that guy is astonishing. He sounds like he talking about a trip to a religious monument or something. f**king hell it's just football.... Sounds like a good moment to post this again: http://www.chelseasupportersgroup.net/2011/02/the-liverpool-myth/
September 16, 201411 yr That is what i was referring to. Unbelievable. It's like supporting Liverpool is like joining a bizzare cult.
September 16, 201411 yr Sounds like a good moment to post this again: http://www.chelseasupportersgroup.net/2011/02/the-liverpool-myth/ My God I think they just might have something though....
September 16, 201411 yr Arsenal poor in the transfer window yet again. Sanchez is never what they needed. Ozil out of position and awful. The guy is a shadow of his former self. Not to mention Welbeck. Another panic buy from Wenger.
September 16, 201411 yr Aubameyang is so f**king fast. Would love to see a sprint between him and Salah.
September 16, 201411 yr I have a bad feeling Dortmund are going to rue some of the misses. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 2 goals late for Arsenal to salvage a draw.

September 16, 201411 yr Ozil taken off....I thought a player had to be on the pitch before you could take him off????
September 16, 201411 yr @benlyt: Guess it's lucky for Arsenal that BVB are missing Reus, Gundogan, Hummels, Kuba, Piszczek & Sahin all injured OOFFF, thats embarrassing.
September 16, 201411 yr So I don't know what a Ludogorets Razgrad is but I am the biggest supporter of it today. Anybody want to hazard a few guesses on what we should expect from Champions League Day 1? Juventus v Malmo FF - Suspect Juventus to be pretty comfortable in this one. 4-1 or 5-1? Olympiakos v Atletico Madrid - Should be a good one. Madrid is playing well so far this season. I could see this one being closer. Maybe 2-1 or 2-0. Liverpool v Ludogorets Razgrad - I can only see a Ludogorets win here! Hopefully 8-0 to the visitors but probably a comfortable Liverpool win. Real Madrid v FC Basel - Madrid haven't started well so far this season so I could see them trying to prove a point with a thrashing. Basel are no slouches though so it may be close 2-1 or 3-1. AS Monaco v Bayer Leverkusen - I have no idea what to expect from this one. I can't imagine Monaco is playing all that well since they lost their 2 best players over the summer so I am going with a Bayer win. Benfica v Zenit St. Petersburg - Benfica win but again haven't watched either team this season so not really sure what to expect. Dortmund v Arsenal - Can actually see Arsenal coming out with a win. Injuries all over the place for both sides but Alex Sanchez has been playing well so far and I expect he will exploit any frailties in the Dortmund back line. Galatasaray v Anderlect - A win for the turks at home. 2-0. I'm glad I don't bet. I would lose so much money.
September 16, 201411 yr I'm glad I don't bet. I would lose so much money. Well, work out what your gut is telling you, and then bet on the opposite.
September 16, 201411 yr It's a good job we have been so good in Europe in the last 10 years because if we weren't then who knows how far English football would have dropped down in the Uefa coefficient. Arsenal hate us so much but they should be thanking us, without us doing so well they probably wouldn't even be playing European football right now.
September 16, 201411 yr If Liverpool drop points here then I would say they're as good as out of the Champions League. They ain't taking points from RM.
September 16, 201411 yr From that thread: If you are from Australia or from anywhere else in the world and not from Liverpool, yes you are less of a supporter. You're an onlooker, and should feel privileged to even hold such status. You have nothing to do with Liverpool, not the culture, not the match day support, literally nothing bar the occasional LFC product you buy to support the club financially. Your moaning contributes nothing. I'm from the States, and I acknowledge my place in the fanbase. Don't mean to sound righteous but you need to learn what it means to be foreign supporter. This club doesn't belong to us, it belongs to people who attend the games week in/out, and their predecessors. LFC is integral to the collective identity of those people, they're the ones that made it into what it is today. You can hardly say the same thing. Liverpool will always be something to the people of Liverpool, if it didn't reach the same heights through the 2000's because of the foreign support, it would be nothing to you, I and every other foreign supporter. Acknowledge the difference before making ridiculous and offensive claims. My advice, save money, go to Liverpool, attend a match, and you'll be humbled in such a profound way that you'll understand your position in regard to LFC. Alternatively, listen to Shanks. That is some seriously unbelievable stuff....and from an American too. Wow. Wow that's a disgrace, no matter where you are from you have the right to support any club you so wish and no matter what you do you are no more less a fan than anyone else. People like this are a joke.
