He was warming up at half-time but not yet. Mandzukic was limping earlier, but Atletico only have one sub left as Moya (the keeper) went off injured in the first half and Simeone brought on Raul Garcia at half time.

I'm not going to pretend I watch Atletico especially often, but it seems like he has roughly just over 1 in 2 in an extremely hard-working, well-organised, hard-pressing side, with a speciality (generally speaking) for scoring against the weaker sides.

 

So same as ever really.

 

I am not particularly proud to say I was one of those who was advocating us signing him over Costa during the summer...
