I want Arsenal through this round, just so they have that bit extra on their plate as a distraction.....then out in the quarters. :-)

 

Yeah I'd take that. The probably aren't good enough to win the Champions League (Monaco are still the weakest team in this round) so I'd be happy with them dealing with a couple more matches as a distraction.

At the Emirates Monaco were getting break aways but today they can't string two passes together

It's not just his goals, his link up play is pretty good as well.

Want arsenal to go through...got no chance of winning it, but 1) pl needs coefficient points and 2) if CFCs blip continues we need them to be distracted (eg we play them in middle of quarter finals) and 3) it will be a lot funnier to see their hopes raised and then be brought crashing back to reality

^bobby - Of course on the face of it can't rule anything out after what we did in 2012 and Liverpool 05, but both teams had what arsenal don't, the ability to defend

There are other teams in the CL that I dislike more than Arsenal. Pep's Bayern, Barca, and PSG (now) come to mind.

Paul Scholes looks absolutely miserable. 

I actually wanted them to lose.. But as you guys said is good for them to go through because they will have game in between and distraction
