Hopefully this month off will give him time to rest up and sort out his back issues. Didn't really get a rest over summer with him going away to the WC.

Regardless he was awful, i remember being particularly disappointed because his performances of the last few weeks had me hoping he would have some influence.

Was also one of our best performers against Southampton when he was on and set up Morata, which he should have finished. Plus the numerous class games he had before that. One game doesn't change much.

Why is it that you can pretty much constantly criticize RLC and Emerson, or at least deny when they have a good game, but when someone criticizes Alonso you instantly jump in?

You need to actually read what I write, rather than making assumptions.  Show me one post I have ever made criticising either one of those (or any other of our players) when they have had a good match.  Just one.  I am quite happy to criticise any player, Alonso and Willian included, when they actually have a bad game.  I "jump in" as you put it when any player is getting criticised regardless of how they have actually played.

I'm a simple soul, really.  Keep it realistic and based in fact and I'll agree with everyone.  Just be a whiney w**ker because you have taken against a player for some reason and I'll comment.

Alright let me put it this way. When someone is happy witht the way RLC or Emerson (and im sure there's otherS) plays you downplay their performances. And then when anyone criticez someone and you don't agree you jump in. I don't even mind that to be honest, you're entitled to your opinion and to post it on here, but it's the way in which you do.To me you come across as the forum bully, always being angy and it comes across as derogatory. Ok, so you can't actually find any examples of what you accuse me of, but that's OK because I'm derogatory and a bully.  Bless.  I'm not sure what you mean by a snowflake, so don't know if you are one or not.  If you think anything posted on an anonymous internet forum about anything counts as bullying, you either have had a very sheltered life, are quite a fragile personality.  As I said, if you can show me any post of mine that conforms to the weird interpretation you have placed on my forum activity, I'll be extremely surprised but will apologise profusely.  But this is the second time in this little interaction I've asked and nothing has been forthcoming, so I suspect that you are really just trying to wind me up.

The other poster is only posting something he deems newsworthy. You're reactions are so unnecessarily over the top. If I was bothered i could go on endlessly. And again, I don't necessarily disagree with you, it's just the matter you choose to discuss. Your point would come acorss much better if you kept your cool a bit more.

The conversation in the CHO thread isn't about performances, good or bad, it's about some dick running round like chicken little crying about the sky falling in when it wasn't true.

Show me any of my posts inaccurately or unfairly criticising a player's performance, which is back to where we started.

It started off with that, and I might've worded it badly. My point is, when you don't agree with someone you mouth off to them. Look at the reply you just typed. In what world is that necessary? Also it was never just about criticizing. It's also about downplaying performances when it suits your agenda so you can then act like a billy big bollocks.

I respectfully disagree there. Yorkley is one of the few here (bluedave is another one) who point out the kneejerk reactions frequently posted on this forum. He may be a little rough around the edges  , but in my view the people that respond to his posts with increasing belligerence know deep down he has a point but try to cover that up by attempts to shout him down. It would be more clever to come up with reasonable arguments to make their case, whatever it is (for instance why they think he's wrong), he actually responds well to that.
