Well taken goal today and a solid performance. Good for him.  Admittedly, I was more on the Kovacic bandwagon this year, but I have to say that RLC should definitely be starting games.

Has to start over Barkley and Kovacic.

More of a goal threat than Kovacic, better on the ball than Barkley.

I want to see him start against Wolves. 

He earns a start but it is much different to start than to face tired legs. However Kovacic didn't really do himself favors here so why not.

And worse at covering space and helping get the ball out of our half, which is the essence of Sarri ball.

He currently has at least three, he got one for every goal of his hat trick he scored earlier this season. 

Came on today, immediately changed our midfield for the better and imposed himself well. 

I think he’s a better player than Barkley, not sure about Kovacic.

Id like to see him start ahead of Kovacic though

Starting to look the player he kept hinting he could become. 

Him or Barkley should be starting in that LCM, attacking position. They both make things happen that none of the other midfielders do.

RLC is playing with confidence at the moment, is driving the team forward and defenders are sh*tting themselves when he’s weaving into the box with the ball at his feet. 

Deserves to start against Wolves.

We need more of an attacking/goal threat from our midfield and RLC and Barkley are providing goals and assists when they're playing but you can bet that Kovacic will be back in that LCM position come the weekend.

Absolutely. Normally I'm critical of RLC but he definitely looked solid. Hopefully, he'll continue to improve.

I may be crazy and desperate, but has anybody else thought about using him as a striker? Morata is useless in the long ball department and a bit of hit-and-miss when it comes to holding up the ball, so it's not like we're going to miss something upfront RLC can't bring.

Best player on the pitch last night. Also has the engine to work both ways on the pitch, exactly what we've been missing in the middle of the park. Long live Ruben.

Up there last night and although in past I've questioned whether he was really going to make it at Chelsea, I have to say he was by far our best player, and needs to start Saturday, also he seemed to be one of the few that cared about it.

If Sarri needs any more proof that Ruben is the real deal, then just sell the man. Let him be a top player in any club he will play for. He was by far our best player last night, very happy to see him do so well. English and our academy player doesn't get better than that.

I'm not counting my lobsters before they hatch here,  but if Sarri took that gamble and Reuben started hitting the back of the net regularly it could save the club a fair wodge of cash.

After Kovacic's recent displays i had a feeling that RLC would start against Wolves....
And didn't he do himself proud, he's beginning to make himself more and more difficult to leave out. 

I thought Ruben was excellent when he came on, he made it look easy against City's press. Hope the lad gets his chance now, he looks ready imo
