This was the one I was looking for  - the one above was a bonus one.  While he had his moments and fair due, he scored some good goals and can pass, this is how I often remember him for England - and that' when I've seen him most I guess.  And anyway, it's good to laugh at him.  

 

He was destroyed by the slip last season. Watching him spend the rest of the game taking random pot shots instead of passing to better placed team mates was a joy to behold. Add in the fact that this season hasn't panned out as he and the Scouse loving media would have liked and you've almost got the perfect send off.

At least the DJ's in Southport can now breath a sigh of relief.

It's crazy isn't it? It's pretty much Rafa's fault aswell. He gutted and gutted that team. Such a strange manager aswell, when players started scoring i.e. Crouch, Cisse he'd drop them. He had a really good side in 08-09 and he f**ked up wanting to replace Alonso with Barry.

I know people will take the piss, but there's a massive part of me that says fair play to their supporters.

Watching this makes me realise that someday soon we'll lose JT and I'll be devastated. They're losing something special today, something we have with JT, and it's a massive deal.

Given him stick over the years but fair play to him. I may not like their fans but they're football fans like us and he means everything to them. He's their JT. That is special.
