Davey Baby: "Stevie G - I adore him, I want to bear his children"

Saw this on RAWK Meltdown.  What is it with RAWK that they feel the need to overwrite pretentious crap thinking they sound intelligent and literary? They use incredibly convoluted analogies and metaphors.  I have never seen anyone else trying to write in such a way, it is completely cringeworthy.

The thing is, every L'pool supporter KNOWS that Stevie Slippy Starfish wanted to join Chelsea back in the day and was close to signing until the Scouse mafia threatened him and his family.

That's proper classy from Liverpool supporters that.  "We won't let our best player leave and improve on his career - he has to rot here and win the odd League Cup if he's lucky."

IF he had joined Chelsea, he'd have a few league, CL and FA Cup winners medals by now.  And that eats at him, you could see it in his face on Sunday afternoon.

He's broken man.

That is brilliant Zeta!  There are so many things I could on but I'll just pick the first two that struck a chord - YNWA - I've never really thought about it that way but the author's right, every other song is celebratory, cheerful or whatever, (think Blue is the Colour and such like) whereas the dirge they treat as religious.

The second thing is of course what we all know but he sums up so well " Liverpool has no more history than Crewe Alexandra or Queens Park Rangers, although it has certainly had more success"

Thanks for sharing that.

Ah but he would have been an apostate then - he cannot be allowed to leave the religion, it's heresy (see above article).

Liverpool fans wallow in self pity.  They don't move on - it's like they enjoy the misery.

They're a strange bunch.  Email campaigns, petitions, outrage.  They're always offended by everything yet can say obscene stuff about other supporters or players of opposing clubs.

The amount of "I hope 'insert player's name here' gets his leg broken this weekend' type posts I read at RAWK every week is quite shocking - the mods don't seem to mind.  But when one person steps out of line and actually questions Rodgers or the sh*te signings they consistently make then it's "Enjoy your ban!".

They're a cult - the whole of the internet knows it except them.

The game against us last year proved once and for all what kind of player Gerrard is.

I'm not talking about the slip, but what happened after it. He spent the whole rest of the game taking ridiculous shots from 30 or 40 yards, trying to be the hero to make up for his mistake, instead of doing what was best for his team.

Stevie G: "I wish I'd met him Brendan Rodgers earlier in my career. I know I'd be talking about trophies now."

Indeed Stevie, if you had met him in 2005 you'd have won loads of trophies. With Chelsea.

100% a cult

Was there really a 'Gerrard press conference' today because it'll be his last game at Anfield at the weekend?

f**k. Me.

Yeah.

They gave him a cake too.

Good job I saw it after I had my lunch!

I do hope it was a banana flavoured cake...I'm surprised the royal mint hasn't struck a commemorative medal

Ha ha. Or a limited edition china plate with a glazed illustration of Gerrard's finest moments.

'One of a strictly limited run of 10,000 "Farewell Stevie" fine porcelain plates. Each individually numbered by John Joe Shelvey and available for 200 easy to pay instalments of £2.99'.

Don't give them bloody ideas!!
