May 21, 201610 yr I hate these interviews straight after the final whistle. Bloody stupid, just let them celebrate.
May 21, 201610 yr The Glazers look ecstatic, you can tell they really get the emotion of football moment like this... Cheer up, you're billionaires!
May 21, 201610 yr At least Van Gaal will keep his job. What an utterly dreadful football manager. Quarter of a billion to win the FA Cup and miss out on Champions League football.
May 21, 201610 yr The Glazers look ecstatic, you can tell they really get the emotion of football moment like this... Cheer up, you're billionaires! And people say Chelsea is just a toy to Abramovich, at least he shows genuine emotion for the club. He has celebrated every trophy we have won.
May 21, 201610 yr West Ham now in Europa league...so a lowly seventh place was good enough to qualify...and we couldn't even do that
May 21, 201610 yr I actually think LVG will still go, they'll see this as his send off IMO Have to say that goal yo win it was one of the best cup final goals I've seen, deserved to be a match winner Edited May 21, 201610 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
May 21, 201610 yr Palace fans are wnakers, think they're ultras etc...obviously Utd's can be pretty obnoxious, but not sorry to see palace lose
May 21, 201610 yr Palace fans are wnakers, think they're ultras etc...obviously Utd's can be pretty obnoxious, but not sorry to see palace lose What were they doing? I saw one go nuts when he was on camera, I was like your team just lost a cup final lol
May 21, 201610 yr surely united's not dumb enough to ditch mourinho just because of this win alone and keep a manager that has spent 250mil but still can't finish top 4 but here's hoping that im wrong
May 21, 201610 yr I think United should let Van Gaal see out the final year of his contract after this, Look how his players were celebrating with him at the final whistle and look how winning a trophy meant to the young boys i.e. Rashford, Lingard, Fosu Mensah. With Van Gaal in charge they might be able to carry on the momentum into next year, Plus if they do get rid, All it does is devalue the FA Cup even more, It's virtually a dud trophy as it is right now, I think Van Gaal deserves some credit for this win.
May 21, 201610 yr Van Gaal is atrocious and deserves credit for nothing with the exception of holding a huge ego up with his giraffe-like neck. The guy is a mumbling buffoon and I wouldn't be surprised if he had chlamydia. He spent quarter of a billion and over the weakest premier league in a long long time, he didn't make the Champion League places. He's an utter failure.
May 21, 201610 yr If relegated Newcastle had double the points they finished on, they're have finished second. Has that ever happened before?
May 21, 201610 yr surely united's not dumb enough to ditch mourinho just because of this win alone and keep a manager that has spent 250mil but still can't finish top 4 but here's hoping that im wrong Let's hope they are...today's win is a bit like Arsenal finishing second on final day...papers over the cracks

They should definitely keep him then, it's better for the rest of us
May 21, 201610 yr There were reports that Mourinho would be announced today. As much as I hate van Gaal, that would be a really sh*tty thing to do to him. Let him and the players enjoy their moment of happiness.
May 21, 201610 yr I feel gutted after today. Feeling-wise, it's a premonition of how I'm going to feel at the Euros; the European refs will not let us be at all physical and we'll choke like Palace (just my personal fears, of course). I don't know about LVG - Utd are light years away from being like you'd expect but they are making progress (despite being hard to watch). For those of us who support the FA Cup as an important contest, it'll suck if Utd say '...you've "only" won the cup, off you go...'. Edited May 21, 201610 yr by Spudulike
May 21, 201610 yr BBC "breaking news" that JM is about to be appointed Utd manager: http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/36163462
May 21, 201610 yr I'd rather win the Cup than finish top four Yep. Arsenal and Spurs note: Utd won an actual trophy.
May 21, 201610 yr BBC "breaking news" that JM is about to be appointed Utd manager: http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/36163462 if this is true united are the biggest hypocrites going, they go on about class and how classless we are because of our treatment of managers and then they do this, sack the man after winning them the fa cup !! Edited May 21, 201610 yr by luckywerthers
May 21, 201610 yr I agree Luckywethers. Re. Jose, a lot of pundits, journos seem to be assuming that Jose will turn up at Utd and all will be well there. I'm less sure. We still don't know what happened to make the players at CFC appear to lack motivation at the start of the season.
