Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

I'd just like to say, fu*k United, if Jose goes their, all due respect to him, I hope it fails miserably.

I agree - eff United.

Something went wrong with JM at the start of this season. The United players (present and future) know that and, imo, some of his aura of success/genius has worn off. How wary of him will the players be and, more importantly imo, what style of play will United fans expect? You often hear LVG criticised for boring play. JM can do the same thing.

Could be bad news for conte/boardthough...already got a tough job, imagine if Jose has Utd challenging for title while cfc struggling to make top four...bound to kick off, people will question decision to sack Jose/hire conte all over again etc

Im sceptical this will actually go through. Maybe I just dont want to see it happen but why wait until now to confirm it if winning the FA Cup wasnt going to matter

Motivation I guess. City went downhill quick after pep was announced.

Betting has been suspended so that says something, How will you view Mourinho when he comes back to the bridge with United? Same question for the others on here as well.

I still hold him in the highest regard and I hope he receives a warm reception when he returns to the Bridge but that's as far as it goes.

When the whistle is blown, then I hope Jose fails miserably at Manchester United.

Its going to be really, really hard to see him grinding out results and titles at ManUtd. Our biggest manager ever ovbiously and seeing him manage our biggest rival is almost more then i can take. Predictable though ovbiously.

Hope he fails miserably and fecks off from England inside a year or two.

Can't see it working for him at United, in all honesty I see the same as has happened throughout his career he'll give them a boost, they'll win a cup or 2, maybe the league, then it'll all blow up in season 3 & he'll get the sack!

In truth f**k him anyway, I don't support Jose I support Chelsea!

Was always gonna happen. Who cares. You know it will go pear shaped at some point.

There is going to be some utterly stupid money spent this summer on players. All the usual contenders will be looking to strengthen.

Him and Pep are certs to continue their spat and it will be amusing to watch.

Jose is damaged goods at this stage....but his early impact will be felt no doubt.

His presence will renew the collective hate on the scum

To be honest, i don't care anymore, it's been obvious that Mourinho would be going to United next season for some time now. I gotta start looking forward, i can't be bothered moaning about where our ex players / coaches are going anymore. Chelsea need to move on and look forward. We have our own sh*t to worry about.

Totally agree. Let's get our own act together. What former managers and players do is irrelevant in that matter. Melancholy and regrets are all fine, but it's about Chelsea.

It's 5 years to the day that we sacked Ancelotti in a corridor at Goodison Park.

Feels like LVG got similar treatment from Utd yesterday.

Spot on, we support Chelsea. Let's just do aswell as we can and win what we can. If United have success they have success but we are Chelsea.

Good post SP. He's now working against CFC and all other PL teams. He'll be up to all his tricks come August, directed against CFC when it comes to your joint fixtures.

One of the most disgraceful acts we've ever committed. No dignity and no respect for someone who had brought success to us only the season before.

Regardless of whether you thought Carlo Ancelotti deserved the sack or not, the way it was done was disgraceful and shame on you Ron Gourlay and everyone who approved of sacking him that way.

This is almost as shoddy. No time for LVG and Utd to enjoy the victory, just a shoddy and probably ego driven leak. I'm pretty neutral about LVG but this whole thing stinks.

In other news, there's a thread on Redcafe about whether Jose will keep Giggs!

Hayley McQueen confirmed that the club didn't say anything. Rather the leak came from Jose's representative right after the victory. Very disappointing from Jose.

i wonder what he will get away with at united? he only had to fart at chelsea and the FA were on to him. Or will he behave himself there?

The FA are in bed with Man United.

As long as he has Ferguson on his side, Jose's immune from the FA. The FA let Ferguson pull any strings he wants. Reports say that Jose doesn't have Ferguson on his side though.

Behold the following taken mere minutes before kickoff yesterday. It's appalling that an official member of one of the clubs playing (Ferguson still an official advisory role as far as I know) has access to the referees of this very important game.

Liverpool are facing disciplinary charges from UEFA over disturbances at the Europa League Final. This takes the number of UEFA charges against Liverpool this season to 9.

Surely that's got to be a record for a single season. They truly are amongst Europe's elite by this measure. Best fans in the world.

f**king outrageous

I can see UEFA banning them from next season's Champions League.

Hang on, they didn't qualify.

So they'll ban them from the Europa league.

Hang on....

They must have had the same disastrous season we've had, then. Klopp must be under pressure from the media after that.

Or maybe not.

Nine charges? Christ, they're worse than I thought, deluded too, saw on FB a Liverpool fan posting footage of our fans misbehaving five years ago...I'm not sure he realises how stupid it makes them look, how you can talk about rival fans misbehaving when you support Liverpool is beyond me, talk about ignorant.
