Chelsea v Fiorentina

I actually thought Cuadrado wasn't that bad. Clearly lacks match fitness, but so do most of these players.

I feel like our fans do give players a chance to succeed over time but some players just aren't cut out for this level, Cuadrado is 100% one of those players. As was Marin.

I remember the day we signed Marin, reading about us signing the 'German Messi'....never had someone been built up so much. Looking back I believe we signed him thinking Hazard was going to go elsewhere.

Hope we keep traore and moses on. RLC has been a little underwhelming. I thought he would have upped his game after jose's comments, but doesn't seem to have changed much pains me to say. Falcao is clearly still getting up his fitness levels as he breathing heavy.

I've been impressed with the young lads in bits, in particular Loftus-Cheek going forward, and also Aina. Would be nice if the team could get it to Falcao a bit more, try to get him a goal and boost his confidence. Overall the lads are trying to play some positive, attractive football and for the most part succeeding, I'm not too concerned at the moment.

So far the players who we expect to be poor have lived up to all expectations. The young players played on adrenaline the first 20 mins and have tired a bit since then, Traore looks very raw. Moses was possibly the pick for the half.

Simply friendly match. I like the way Bertrand Traore is working, a lot of defensive working but a little bit lack of attacking work. RLC started amazing, had a good chance to score and was dominant in the central but with the time he went too much defensively. I'm very enjoying to watch Ola Aina, never seen him playing until this pre-season, I think he's very talented and worth a chance next season with us to be a squad player. I think our most disappointed players are our both Columbians, Falcao made only two fouls, that's all and Cuadrado actually nothing. Anyways, it's a friendly match and it seems like Jose taking this match on simple level, this match more about giving chances and let the players enjoy.

Has Cuadrado looked slow today out of interest? In terms of if we're countering, pausing on the ball and pausing before he attempts a cross? He did that over and over against PSG, saw it with my own eyes in person. So frustrating.

Good 20 mins, then lost the midfield and couldn't keep possesion.

Moses impressed although still has no end product for me.

Rlc and aina showed glimpses, traore was full of endeavour, but not much quality, but I suppose you can excuse him a little.

I don't want to bash mikel, but considering he is entering his prime, you would think that he wants to push for a starting spot, but he just seems happy to be a bit part player.

So far Solanke/Bamford look like they would've been better backup options than Remy/Falcao

How can u possibly say solanke who has played less than 45 mins of professional football, would be a better option than either remy or falcao? He's only 17, let's see how he does in his first season of football before deciding whether is the next messiah.

That actually made me laugh.

What did he do that was of any note?

He managed to get his shirt on the right way around, or maybe he had help with that.

Another shocker, poor on the ball and defensively he looks very naive for a player who plays internationally as a wing back.

he's scored 40+ goals las season at youth level- which believe it or not is professional football

Got to admit, that last part tickled me. Nearly pissed my pants at work. Not a good look!

It wasn't all plain sailing....

I liked the bit where he carefully controlled it out of play with his first touch.

I'll grant you that was entertaining.

For all the wrong reasons but at this point I'll take whatever I can get.

I'm just trying (unsuccessfully) to stop thinking about Schurrle.
