Jose Must Go / Must Stay (merged threads)

Featured Replies

It may just be Jose is  an excellent short term manager but his methods simply  wear off after a while, his track record would suggest that. Personally I think its a culmination of maybe that and a lot of other things as well. Most importantly some players do not look fit, blame that on whatever or whoever but the manager will ultimately take the blame.

Time to play RLC ,Kenedy, Traore,Baba at least they're fit (hopefully). Up the work rate and hope it compensates for the poor form !!

It just may be that Jose is only an excellent manager is the short term, but that's uncertainty and I try to go by what is certain when possble.

And what is certain, is that it would take a huge level of stupidity to not give him a proper chance to prove otherwise. What will a manager come in and magically do that Mourinho cant, even after this terrible spell?

Considering the current transfer policy of the past few windows, how do justify perhaps your biggest expense to be sacking a manager who will go into next season, no matter how poor this ends, with a record of winning the BPL at least 50% of the time he competes in it?

And who comes next to the chopping block knowing despite all the words and contracts stated otherwise, he keeps the blame sharp and the arm well practiced?

And what kids will play with the next manager knowing that Jose has been forced to play certain players by Ambromovich before yet the youths aren't getting playing time? Clearly success is all that matters. That's what the past managers saw and look at all those opportunities. Even when times get rough. Surprise, experienced managers tend to prefer experienced players unless they are a phenomenal talent.

An uncertain decision can be a hard one to chose, but less so when the other option is folly.

He must stay until the end of the season and be giving ample time to recitfy the situation.

He is not used to this, he is probably learning more now then all of his previous seasons at Chelsea combined. He has earned and deserves enough time here.

He should, however stay through to his word and give RLC, Traore and Baba some game time.

Baba? We will again see Ivanovic against Villa.

But I think RLC may see more time on the pitch.

Made up? How am I making stuff up :laugh2: it's well known from Gulliam Ballague that Jose has supporters in Madrid.

The media made it out to be something more than it was clearly by the fact the two made jokes about it. Under Jose Hazard has become a much much better player same as Joe Cole did but of course Ben anti Mourinho you'll ignore that and continue to post crap to support your bollocks statements.

what supporters? arbeloa & alonso? as opposed to the rest of the squad? check again how he parted company with madrid that time.. too many players were just glad to see the back of him, they didn't even bother to say thanks...

As for hazard, when a player came out point blank saying the manager didn't set up to play football then it can only mean 1 thing, there was a conflict of philosophy between the 2 men.. sure hazard did it coz he had to at the moment but once has has a choice, do ya think he won't set himself free?  The label 'much much better player' is also exaggerating, not much different from the hazard lille to current hazard in term of offensive trait, sure ya could say he's much better defensively but player like him is judged offensively...

It's really pot kettle black for your last bit of statement..

I expect you have proof of this, spoken to them all have you? Ozil for example admitted his admiration for mourinho after he left Madrid. The reason certain players seemingly stabbed him in the back was because he dropped casillas, correctly. Theres a cabal at Madrid, they turned on ancelotti, they are turning on benitez.

Notice people talking about Fergie earlier in the thread discussing whether he did or didn't have bad spells. Gooners 03/04 CFC 04/05 05/06 So Utd went 4 years of not winning the title and don't remember them winning many cups In between. I think they beat Millwall 2004. Did they start saying sack Fergie he's finished? I don't think so. If we don't win it this season so what.

There are 3 other competitions to play four and focus on finishing top 4. People need to think about pre 2004 for a reality check and remember this man in charge now has achieved 3 out of the 4 Prem titles we have. Give him time

Supporters in the boardroom you muppet. Also I'm sure many players were with him it's well know Ronaldo, Ramos and Casillas fell out with him as they have done with many other coaches and players. Suppose all that is Jose's doing aswell eh?

then why did they sack him in the 1st place? so much for the supporters that, yup a silent supporter which is equivalent to non existent..  and I'd like to know which are the managers that those players have fallen out with? any proof or even a hint in the media?

so it's only because of casillas? if he's so important, he wouldn't have been pushed out the way he did..

Unfortunately I don't have any proof, only got the information from the media, which open for interpretation really... some would choose how they should take that bit piece of news to suit their belief..  they can so easily say that's a lie because it doesn't support their belief and they can so easily quote that news if it suits their belief....

I don't know if Mourinho will turn this around or not.........

What I am sure of however is though is that Mourinho has just recently signed a 4 year contract with Chelsea and is one of if not THE highest paid manager in the game. The club isn't going to want to pay that contract out and will only sack him as an absolute last resort, of this i'm very confident.

Here, have some straw for your men.

so do people still think Jose lost the locker room? I never believed in that hype & today I saw players giving their all on both sides on of halfway line - so I would like to say to all of those people who believed in that nonsense

Kind of hard to misplace a whole locker room, no?

Won't be lost for long, I'll start putting up posters tonight.

As ever they will disappear for a while, same as they do when a player thats often slagged of has a good game and they cant bring themselves to give them even an ounce of credit.

For a second I thought that was Wenger with a dye job but he always looks to the left with his smug face when he thinks he has said something clever.

you are too modest - it was you that was clever...I wanted to find a nice LOL image to help represent your post
