Falcao and Remy  are not good enough  for chelsea infact,  they were signed as a desperate measure to ensure we had strkers for training  as I cant believe that Jose would buy either of these players giiven a choise ,

Many of our fans are calling for changes ,  and apart from loftus cheek  I dont see the players who are better than the ones we have on the field.

Yes some may be out of form and we do seem to lack any pace from midfield unless willan is in there  but Jose will get it right so no matter the score or how we are playing ts tme to support the shirt

WE support the Shirt  so its time to give the boys 100% support  so how about a   showing it  every 15 mnutes duriing the match with are song  and really lift are team

Blue is the colour, football is the game
We're all together, and winning is our aim
So cheer us on through the sun and rain
'cause Chelsea, Chelsea is our name

lets do are bit

I agree, though I feel Falcao is given a rough time by many on here. I don't believe either of them are currently at Diego's quality. Falcao has a better footballing brain than both of them but what Remy and Falcao lack is presence. Falcao used to have it because of his form and him being lethal gave him that.

Diego fights everyone, that maybe is his downfall but it shows he demands a lot from his team and the team looks for Diego and they have confidence when playing with him. I don't feel the same with Falcao and Remy.

Diego fights, Falcao tries and Remy goes missing.

The problem with signing 2nd or 3rd choice strikers is that they know they have to sit on the bench for a period of time but it maybe an exception with us as Diego get suspended/injured for decent periods.

I have so much time for Remy as an established premier league player who's actually scored goals for us when called up. It's a mystery why he hasn't been playing more IMO.

Falcao is looking more and more like a big mistake...

Your point about us doing our bit is 100% true - everyone should be singing their lungs out every single game until we turn this mess around. Win or lose up the blues - a lot of people forget this mantra when the going gets tough.

Remy is arguably the best back up striker in the league

Well you could argue about anything, but that's doesn't mean it's anywhere near true. He's a decent sub off the bench, but starting he's nearly always been poor for us. He may flourish in a differnet system, but we don't look like changing ours any time soon, so really we need more of a Drogba-esque big target man.

Remy is a cracking back-up striker option to have.

Falcao is done at the highest level - I was shocked that Chelsea even entertained the idea of getting him in.  He'd struggle in the French league now let alone Premier League.

Nothing is wrong with Remy, he was important player last season and still is. Sometimes I'm feeling bad for him when Jose puts Falcao before him. On other side, I won't mind if we will give Falcao back to Monaco, Jose shouldn't bring him from the beginning.

Has he ever actually started 2 games in a row for us playing as a striker?

I really struggle to judge him when his career for us to date pretty much consists of cameo appearances,  coming in and out the side and being shunted out wide to suit our requirements.

He has a good habit of scoring goals and,  whilst he is perhaps a rather limited player in the sense of his skill set,  I think he is a more than adequate squad player.

Good signing in my opinion.

In my opinion Dzeko was the best back up striker in the league by a mile but with the best Goals to minute ratio and a PL Medal to boot it's not far fetched to say that Remy is the best back up striker in the league with Dzeko leaving for the Serie A.

Him not suiting our system is a completely different argument so that point is mute, but to write him off completely and saying he isnt good enough to be a Chelsea player (like the OP mentioned) is just absolutely absurd.

I had a dream we were in the FA cup against Newcastle at home and 2-1 down. 93rd minute ball rolling across their goalline from a free kick, falcao dives in with a header and misses the ball. The ball rolls harmlessly past the goal and is cleared. Bang! Final whistle goes and we're out.

after reading all the comments  and arguments for and against Falcao  and Remy  the for and against

the conclusion i have come to are these

1  we bought two strikers that dont suit the system we play

2 Jose dosent know how to change the system when the afore mentioned strikers are called  for

3 Falcao and Remy do not have the ability to learn a different system

4  And i do believe that Remy has been training with Chelsea for  14 months  Falcao  4 months

so the arguements that they need a long run to learn are a bit poor  imho

We all knew Falcao suck before Jose signed him as one of his 'side project'. Remy only had 1 poor game against Newcastle, even Costa had more poor games this season, harsh on Remy, and he has done a good job when he was called on last season. I

Remy is a great, great player to have in the squad. Dont be daft. Versatile, tries for the team, scores important goals.

Falcao on the other hand, we all knew what he was like at Manchester United and yet we still signed him... Solanke would do an equal job as Falcao atm.
