Tricky to pick with such a sour taste after the result. I'd say our defence played well on the whole, I'll go for Cahill.

Willian again for me, great close control and a few dangerous balls in to the box, a predetor type striker would have been sniffing them out and he'd have had an assist or two today.

Hazard played ok in fact without the over dramatic end is near attitude as we lost again the whole team played alright.

 

Nerves and lack of end product with poor officiating and very tenacious opposition took it's toll on the boys who are struggling to turn their season around.

I thought ivanovic was pretty good today aswell. Fluffed a chance to put costa in though, but he looked better than he has for a while.

Not sure if anyone really deserves motm, but I'd probably go with Zouma.

Willian having two assists in a game would more then a predator striker. Divine intervention might do the trick but even then Im not sure.

As for MoM, Id vote Zouma. Always tries his best and wasnt at fault for the goal

I don't know what you're on about but Willian played well enough to have had a couple of assists, the main people at fault for the goal was the keeper, fresh back from injury and the Referee.

Cahill was far better than Zouma, always feel like he gets overlooked simply cause Zouma is younger. He was solid and put in some vital blocks which could have seen us been 1 nil down even before the second half. He gets my vote.

Can't believe Courtois is winning the poll, albeit with just a mighty four votes...yes he made a few good saves but he was at fault for the goal so can hardly be man of the match...he helped cost us the match in the end
