I respect other's opinion, but who can actually formulate an opinion, rather than stating "that is complete bollocks".

USP? He`s a striker, not a washing powder. As for one of the best strikers in the PL, thats just your opinion and not one many of us share.

At times he has looked to have a better touch and overall game play than Costa. And before people jump down my throat, NO, i dont want lukaku here.

But I also think most of the time people are very unfair on him. The same people who are trolling lukaku are also the ones who want Morata whose game against Czech republic was a nightmare. a 35 year old Aduriz out-performed him.

Lukaku's improvement in the last year and his goal scoring ability makes him a wonderful prospect. His first touch is not his USP. You dont get to score 60 goals and assists 28 goals, being one of the best strikers in the PL for nothing. Also, calling him a "belgian darren bent" is down right ridiculous.

No you did not. The first half of the post was a direct reply for you. The latter one was for some of the hilarous stuff I read here.

If we use two strikers under Conte we need bodies. I would look for a striker that can complement Costa. I think he needs to be pacy and good with ball in his feet. Lukaku has height and okay pace.

Conte seems to play a fast skillful player as second striker. Giovinco, Tevez and now Eder or Immobile alongside Pelle. I think it would be a Pedro or Hazard beside whoever the no9 is. Unless we bring in someone in a similar mould.

Was not it a "popular" opinion that Oscar will be world class, or that selling Kdb and mata was perfect for team chemistry as we had Oscar. Well, just because a large group of people can delude themselves towards one thing, does not make that thing "the right opinion". Hence bullsh*t

How is that not one of the best? He ranks in the top 5 PL goal scorers in the last 3 years (or even in the last 4 years if you also count his 17 goal season at WBA). Playing for teams like everton and WBA while the players who top him are from man city (and without a shred of doubt one of the best players in the world), Giroud playing for arsenal who are one of the most attacking teams in the league, Kane (who is one of the best young strikers). Vardy had a 5 goal season before this. So yes..           indeed. (Kids and their smileys)

It seems my bullocks "opinion" is met by some of the people actually running the clubs. Oh well, "opinion" and a bit of perspective.

I think most of the strikers in the world have a problem against condensed defence. Messi could not score against a 10 men condensed defence having bosingwa and ivanovic as CBs and ramires as a RB. 

Lukaku still has a lot of improving do to, but I also feel that at 23, he is on the right path. Most of the things that he were his weakness - he improved on in the last season, namely first touch and back to the goal play.

Tottenham, Arsenal, ManU don't. They play open attacking football. Lukaku has more space. I also think PL teams react to us differently than against Everton.

The way we have attacked for some years now we need a player who can hold the ball. Lukaku for me isn't that player. Maybe Conte can change all that to fit Lukaku in but I don't see it.

Lukaku is "rumored" and been linked with chelsea/united. Which shows the best clubs in the country are looking at him and want him. THAT was the point. A poor striker or a darren bent would not have that privelege.
