I don't want to beat Roy the person; he seems a decent bloke to be honest.  I am concerned about Roy the manager, mainly because of the changes made before the Slovakia game.  There's a lot to be said for having a settled team, with players understanding the system and each other.  Changing players on the scale of Monday can't help with team cohesion(?)

Croatia changed 5, they beat spain. Every player that is in the squad should be there to play. If he hadnt made changes and we had drawn he would have been lambasted for not making changes. If he hadnt made changes and we won then he would have been lambasted for not resting players in such a winnable game etc...Simply cannot win.

This 6 changes thing is a complete misnomer being used as yet another stick to beat an England manager. If you break down the changes then theres more like 3 that had an impact, possible even only 2.

Vardy/Sturridge in, everyone was calling for this after they scored the goals against wales

Clyne for Walker was a like for like, with Clyne being one of our best players.

Berty for Rose, again like for like, made few mistakes and had a solid game

Henderson or wilshire for Ali was a gamble but Ali had hardly been on fire, he was anonymous in both our first 2 games. the

problem here was both Henderson and wilshire were dog sh*t.

so 6 changes yes, 6 significant changes that were expected to severely weaken the team? No.

Niether of those center mids shoould be there in the first place

Roy took victory against Slovakia for granted and gifted the Welsh passage into the easier side of the draw.

Don't knock that top half of the draw, sure historically that looks like the weak side, but on current form it isn't.

Croatia beat Spain, so at this moment in time, Croatia are a tougher team to play.

Wales just hammered Russia 3-0, and will also be a tough team to play.

Poland look a tough team to beat.

Belgium starting to click.

Portugal with Ronaldo never going to be easy against them.

Even the Swiss just held the hosts to a draw, so who knows.

Great to see Hungary's goalie has dressed for the occasion again. Wouldn't it be fun if Hungary did manage to beat Portugal somehow.

In Hungary it is traditional for all over 40's to get ready for bed before a match.

All the best to Republic of Ireland.

Think Italy will beat them by a couple to be honest though.

I just hope they'll play a decently entertaining game. For the game against Sweden my husband took off a few hours from work only to practically fall asleep watching. He wouldn't do it again this time, and I can't blame him. COYBIG!

Come on Hungary!

Nah, we don't even dress up in the morning. Saves the time and we can get to the pub earlier.
