I'm sure the Russian's were the one's who came looking for a fight, but England and Wales fans throwing bottles in their direction isn't going to do any good. Goading them isn't going to help things at all.

What a cross by Ronaldo and what a miss by Nani.

I thought that was a superb save more than anything. Nani did more or less everything right - a powerful header hit downwards.

He never done 'everything right' at all. He was 3 yards out with the whole goal to hit and he put it down the middle.

I agree that he should have aimed more towards the bottom corner. Nonetheless I reckon nine times out of ten that goes in - fantastic save, especially considering the keeper's starting position.

Well that was predictable I suppose. Iceland haven't really been defensively solid enough to justify how poor they've been in possession.

 

Three at the back might be an idea considering Portugal are playing a two-man attack.

I like the way Portugal is playing, they're showing good passion, controlling the game really well. If they will continue in that way, I won't be surprised to see them in the finals. 

 

Danilo, Gomes and Mario are doing very well. We should look for Danilo, great player.

Mayos - you're right about that Nani header actually, he's hit that right into the centre. Still a very good recovery from the keeper though.
