If you notice, not one person has attempted to even try and justify the incongruency between their assertion that it is an act and his apparent "well meaning" remarks. 

I wish they would make up their minds. 

I really don't even dislike Jose but I really do enjoy independent and logical thought.

Pogba without a shred of doubt would have made us better. Maybe we would have shifted to a 4-3-3 (with matic-cesc as the other 2). Also if you or anyone else had thought that we would have bought someone named Kante and he would be the best DM in the world ATM, then wow... crystal ball guys.

Stones is someone who even I did not want, but we can see why Jose wanted him. Stones alongside JT for a year or 2 could have been good. Even though i have/had my doubts about stones' prowess and the fact that he was costing 50mil, but he could have been a decent buy. Judging him on his city performances is stupid as the pep version of football is way different from the jose version, where the defender gets a lot more protections

Lastly, Jose also bought us: Costa, Cesc, willian, Matic. Established Azpi as the best Full-back in the league, established Courtois as our first choice GK and had made Hazard look like a world beater.

So yes, the FANBOYS screamed: GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS!!!!

How do you know that Contes demeanour is an act? Have you not seen him during his playing career. He has always had that personality and is a very passionate man when it comes to football.

The case with Jose is you want to be selective. Any sly digs he gives out you brush off as an act and mind games. And any praise you will say it's Jose being class.

The things he says and the things he does are what build our perception of his personality. If the perception that he is an ungrateful petulant whatnot is unjustified because he has been acting, so is the perception that he can win with grace (very easy to do by the way). If you want to pick and choose where you want to use this argument, be my guest but also understand that you are leaving any analytical thought completely behind.

The reason I pick on this is because it is the ONLY reasoned argument that has been made so far to justify not 'judging' the Jose that we see and hear nowadays. 

It is also amusing to see how no one bothered to address this simple inconsistency when it was referred to.

All other posts have just been variations of "greatest ever manager", "we should be grateful", etc. etc. ending with show him respect NOW because of THEN. Everyone is grateful about THEN. Why should that be justification for his negative behaviour towards us NOW? 

I didn't see this outpouring of support for Gallas after his shenanigans (it worked out well for us no doubt). We had reason to be grateful to him too (of course not to the same degree).

Look at Cech, Frank and even Mata before and after their moves to rivals. They were/are class personified.

The "sly" digs are there only for people like you who not only want to read between the lines, but actually use the secret lights to somehow decipher the hidden meaning behind all that he says.

Mourinho saying Chelsea can concentrate just on the FA cup is simply mind games. It is partly true and at the time UTD had 3 trophies to concentrate on and a place for top 4. Chelsea are really in a position where they could rest some players but they don't need to with a week between games. So it's true what Mourinho is saying but he lets everyone know for mind games. Fergie did it everytime and everyone just thought same old Fergie and Mourinho is exactly the same. I'm use to it and don't see it as a personal attack.

Do you think he is not aware how they used to slag him off and already forgotten how Chelsea fans chanted his name (including me) when we lost to Southampton? He really did wind me up that season, but whenever I go to a game, I will always support the team and manager. Booing does nothing so ill wait until im logged onto a closed Chelsea forum to vent my anger.

But as per my first sentence, are you going to defend that indirect disrespectful comment towards Chelsea fans as Jose simply keeping United fans onside? Those are the lengths he has to go to in keeping that fanbase happy? Really?

Anyone with common sense will tell you that Jose calling us defensive was a sly dig. Even if he values defensive football, he knows that being labelled defensive in modern football is not a respective term. I wouldn't even call us defensive also. We are very potent in attack and he could've used words to highlight our overall strength. Logic will tell you that his comments about our style of play are that of a bitter man. Backhanded compliment at best.

I would say Chelsea are a defensive counter attacking team. They hope on getting the first goal then counter attacking. Not exactly a bad thing.

What exactly is this thread about again? Why can't we just accept that we've moved on and so has he? I'm glad to see him doing well as he deserves it because of the success he brought us but it was the right time when he left and we are also doing well so can't both parties just move on?

I have read it through and watched the video and you really get worked up over that? You need to get a thicker skin or stop trying to find things that might not actually be there. You got to remember that was off the back of a 4-0 defeat and a win just over there main rivals. Also that was on MUTV by the looks of it. I honestly don't see nothing wrong in that or how he is being disrespectful to Chelsea fans, I actually don't care what he said. If that's what he thinks then fair play to him, it's just an opinion.

Before you start with the defending him rubbish, I'm not actually defending him or slagging him off. I am just looking at it with abit of common sense and not taking everything personally.

IF Jose cared about modern football and labels, he would do a wenger and set out his team to play in a style that did not suit him. COMMON SENSE.

We are a defensive/counter attacking team. Thats what we are best at, not opening up defences. But I am sure, that one perceived "dig" makes him the baddest of bad evils to have ever lived.

Where he said it is irrelevnt. It will still be on sky, express, metro, telegraph etc. I'm not looking for things that aren't there, I'm commenting on what I see.  If you respect him for saying "That’s why I am proud today, the spirit of the supporters is phenomenal here, I never had people like these ones", less than a year after Chelsea fans backed him in the stadium then each to their own I guess.
