First thing first, you can abuse him because its a private forum and he wont see it. Yet, I am the keyboard Warrior!!! :laugh2::laugh2: Awesome mate.

Rafa has no relation to Chelsea. Most of the chelsea fans (not many, most) are in-different to him. So obviously when you abuse Jose, on a CHELSEA FORUM, you are bound to get heat. How are you not getting that? I mean seriously. If it makes me a hypocrite, then so be it. I cant start to care what people think of Rafa, he is the manager of a Championship Club. He is NOT a Chelsea LEGEND.

On a Chelsea FORUM, if you abuse WENGER, you the hell will care. If you abuse Jose, people are gonna go batman on your ass. Thats Common Sense. Now you can continue to cry and moan, I honestly dont care if you dont get that logic or find it hypocritical

Exactly that, hes a popular and well known personalty with thousands of people commenting on his actions. He will never see any of them. You on the other hand will abuse someone who comments on the same forum as you hurling abuse as you see fit because you can do just like those twitter kids, throw abuse to anyone who reads your comments behind the safety net of your monitor.

I can tell you now that most Chelsea fans are indifferent to Jose since he became United manager. That is a fact. Thats not to say they don't appreciate his success with us but they certainly feel he has a very (to put it mildly) unpleasant personality.

Wenger is not a Chelsea legend and Jose is fine. But one thing they have in common is that they are both working for RIVAL clubs. Jose is at his dream club and based on his words, I think he will find it more special to succeed with United than he did with Chelsea.

Remember he tried to say the love story is over with Lampard? Well the same applies to him and his comments certainly show it, so please stop talking as if Jose still publically holds Chelsea close to his heart and shows appreciation of that from time to time instead of brushing everything including the fans under the carpet.

Exactly what? You are fine with abusing someone with the knowledge that its fine, untill and unless it does not get read by the person. I am standing up for something I believe in and someone that I respect. Yet, I am the keyboard warrior? LOL

I find it hard to believe that MOST chelsea fans are indifferent to Jose. I mean, really hard to believe. Jose will always have a soft spot in most of the Chelsea fans' hearts. They wont hate/love/obsess about him as much, but the respect will remain.

"Jose is at his dream CLub".  I mean where do you get such Facts? I am sure, the MEDIA!!!! When you throw such hard facts at me, I am actually dumb-founded.

Dont care if he loves the club. I did not find anything that he said as derogatory or even a dig. I definitely dont think that he dis-respected the club. I am simply respect him and his acheivements.

Stop going overboard. You going on like I have just abused Mourinho constantly without any justification.

He's made a comment which I felt was disrespectful so I posted my opinion on the matter. The way you're making it out as if I have called him a C**T 100 times with no other reason. Calm down on the exaggeration please. And as I said, this is a forum which is about opinions on public figures. Just like every other forum about public figures, people will form an opinion and comment and justify why. This is no different. Just because you are a fanboy of Jose and he can do no wrong is doesn't mean you should act like a keyboard warrior and abuse the poster who doesn't share your view.

As a regular attendee at the Bridge I've had the Jose discussion with plenty of fans. My general consensus is that the respect for him has gone down alot HOWEVER, and please understand this, it does not mean they don't appreciate what he's done in the past.

I get such facts from Jose himself. If you really don't believe that Utd are his dream club all I can liken it too is a woman who doesn't want to believe her husband is seeing another woman.

Your bias towards him is clear, but thats your opinion. Your opinion is not fact, neither is mine. But I will stand by what I see and don't expect a keyboard warrior to abuse me for it.

Although im sure he had United as an potential option at some point, i'm not sure this dream club thing is anything over than a media made myth.

If you spout off the same anti-Mourinho garbage as you do on here amongst plenty of Chelsea fans in a pub, you would be the bloke sat on your own in the corner.

Trust me, 99.99% of us have nothing but respect for Jose.

But now he's at Manyoo, those same 99.99% of fans want us to trash him and his team, we want to dump them out of THE cup, we want to go up to OT and smash his team to bits.

It's easy to see why you get confused.

So pathetic. Sad to see that this is the level of dialogue people are most comfortable with.

He wanted rooney in 2013, 4 years ago. When he was still a footballer. and when we had only torres and ba as our options

Pogba without a shred of doubt would have made us better. Maybe we would have shifted to a 4-3-3 (with matic-cesc as the other 2). Also if you or anyone else had thought that we would have bought someone named Kante and he would be the best DM in the world ATM, then wow... crystal ball guys.

Stones is someone who even I did not want, but we can see why Jose wanted him. Stones alongside JT for a year or 2 could have been good. Even though i have/had my doubts about stones' prowess and the fact that he was costing 50mil, but he could have been a decent buy. Judging him on his city performances is stupid as the pep version of football is way different from the jose version, where the defender gets a lot more protections

Lastly, Jose also bought us: Costa, Cesc, willian, Matic. Established Azpi as the best Full-back in the league, established Courtois as our first choice GK and had made Hazard look like a world beater.

So yes, the FANBOYS screamed: GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS!!!!

He was still a footballer 4 years ago and now he isn't? Rooney was already in decline ever since the red nose bought rvp.. and for the record, it's not 4 years ago, it's 3 years.. jose didn't even finish his 3rd season with us... and If he got him, costa wouldn't have come because he only saw rooney as a striker, there's a quote for that... Imagine another prolonged torres moment (including the transfer fee & wage!!)

The issue with Pogba is the pricetag, the world record transfer fee, for that amount of money, it's not outrageous to expect instant impact and he just didn't deliver.. Even the cast away Juan Mata outshines him this season, the irony..

And it's not stupid to judge stones under pep, for a top club you want your defender to be able to withstand challenge on his own, not this 'getting protection crap' I don't think I'd fancy a defender who can only be good when they have protection..  A defender that needs to be protected?? that just sounds funny.. John stones could very well be another john tompkins, typical english hype..

Speaking of his other buys, are you sure willian was his buy??  Costa and cesc were his buys but the former wouldn't have been if his 1st choice wayne rooney made the move.. selling mata getting cesc was kind of redundant move but we made a profit so ok...  Thibaut courtouis was laliga winner and CL finalist so he's kind of established himself there.. As for hazard? he's been a 'world beater' (your version) before joining us and didn't hazard himself came out the other day saying he is better this season than 2 seasons ago where he was named poty?

Well, MU certainly gave what he wanted and they're 6th.. Their lifeline is this 35 years old fella, free transfer..

I see you are a new signing with 17 posts to your name.  So, unless you are a banned person rejoining under a new name, what would you know about how hard the mods here work at keeping a balance, gently guiding people towards a more acceptable way of communicating before banning them?

Please wait till you have been on here for longer than 5 minutes before making wildly erroneous judgments on the mods of this forum.

I am also fed up with seeing complaints like this from people who have not used the report system to bring an offensive post to the attention of a mod.  They all have full time jobs and families to look after.  They can't possibly read every single post on the whole site in order to make sure that nobody is offended. If you ARE offended, please report the post that has offended you.

On the blue line at the top of every post there is a Report Post button - it comes just after the one that tells you when the item was posted.

That'll probably the poster who thinks it's ok to use racism to make his point. Or a new member who used his first post to ask for 4 tickets to manyoo.

First of all I don't spout any garbage. And there are many more problems that I have with Jose that I will not go into on here as you already no my stance. Last time I had a proper moan about Jose was in the Elk just after Christmas and I certainly was not sat in the corner on my own.

99.99% of fans have respect for what Jose achieved with us but 99.99% of fans do not respect his opinion and just overall bitter attitude he ACTS out.

So its not ok to call out a member on here for being a dick, but racism is fine. Some moral compass that idiot has :laugh2:

Moi, the mods are doing a great job and I really appreciate their efforts. It takes time to maintain and moderate a forum like this and we have to of course remember that their time is completely voluntary. I do help moderate some bird forums myself and I know how difficult it is.

That said, I have been on the forum for close to 10 years now and following it almost since its inception. My contributions have admittedly been limited and very selective. It has been, in my opinion, the best run football fan forum I have seen by a long way. One of the characteristics that makes it so special is the inherent democracy and tolerance within and the lack of tolerance for intolerance.

I have seen a significant lowering in the democratic standards of the forum recently. Once upon a time, disagreeing voices whether about other clubs like Barcelona (or in England), or referees, or Mikel, or Drogba, or Abramovich or anyone else were tolerated and allowed as a community even if disagreements became heated.

An opinion (unless it is racist, or mysoginist, or sexist, or discriminatory in any way) must be allowed to be voiced without the community as a whole trying to silence that opinion with petty insults and the like. Silencing opinions with well reasoned dialogue is another matter. I also felt that the recent racist comment could have been condemned more vociferously and publically given that (an assumption really) several youngsters with malleable minds probably read this forum and given the current intolerant political climate we live in.

I was (and still am) heavily pro Mikel and really felt that he, among others, were heavily undervalued by many members of the forum. However, threads of that very nature were testament to the democratic health of the forum as two disagreeing factions could coexist without any real animosity.

I don't know whether you believe my opinion on this matter is valid or not. I had to however say what I said now and that is all I have been trying to encourage throughout this thread.

I hope with all sincerity that theshedend continues to be the best football fan forum! :)

This is not about me trying to "enjoy a good preach".

do you think you can post more when it's not related to jose? Most of your posts were jose related and before you know it, it's just an overly attached love emotion from a dude to another dude, so weird..

Btw, where's your fellow jose's fanboys club members go? you know like barry bridge, chippy/chappy or whatever.. we're top of the league now, surely they should be interested, no?  if not then this thread alone should be more than enough to make them back interested.. tell them so they can join you..
