It's always been a bit of a running joke how bad of a player Victor Anichebe is, but I just looked at his stats, and my god... It's actually astonishing that premier league clubs have consistantly wanted him throughout his career.

In 241 career games, he has 38 goals. Thirty Eight.

The most PL goals he's ever got in a season is SIX.

He has well and truely stolen a career.

west brom and sunderland winning it seems. boro will be up for monday. 2 more games chels, just two more.

Incentive incentive for Boro. Let's hope they go all gung ho.

What a day of goals that was, MOTD should be good tonight.

I wouldn't be shocked if Swansea lost to Everton now, they seem to match Hull's results.

I ultimately think it might be better for us that Boro aren't down, now they have to come on to us.

Wouldn't mind getting Llorente as a 2nd choice striker next season.

I was thinking the same.

Think he would be a very decent backup option to have.

When we were linked in January I would have been very happy if we signed him, if we had him to come from the bench or even replace a misfiring Costa from the start I think we would have win the games we lost lately

Everton are terrible at using Lukaku correctly. They think that because he is a big guy, they can just lump it up field to him, he get's no support at all. Even if he was to win one of these balls lumped up to him, what do Everton expect him to do, beat 5 defenders all by himself ? Nobody helps him in attack, they are always about 25 yards away from him. I'm amazed he has managed to get as many goals as he has done with the lack of service he gets.

Sunderland wining 2-0.

Middlesbrough's game is a must win now against us

Bloody annoying, you'd imagine, for Sunderland fans that the team turns up a week after they are relegated.  Sunderland will not be back soon if Moyes stays at the helm.  I like the bloke but Everton seemed, in hindsight, to be his niche.

I don't even like him, I think he tries to make out he's this nice guy but he isn't. He peaked at Everton years before he left. That team went stagnant under him in the end.

Did you hear his latest interview? He didn't say any of the right things about staying at Sunderland. I don't think he will last there tbh.

I was browsing a Sunderland forum earlier, since I was bored. They hate him over there. Some of them reckon he's trying to get fired, to get the compensation money.

Say that's true what then? Surely he's done after Sunderland unless he can get them promoted. The guys stock has fallen so far that he's at the bottom of the ocean now.

Careful, he'll give you a slap. Oh wait, you're not a woman, never mind.

Good point about Everton stagnating tbh. Sunderland is more difficult to assess, for me, as few recent managers seem to have got much out of the team.  There seems to be a general issue with the two main North Eastern sides making a good job of being in the EPL.

Problem with Sunderland has been poor decisions from the top, when they had Steve Bruce they were doing fine then they sacked him. With the next managers they've never given them any money, Advocaat could have done something decent with Sunderland but he didn't get anything to spend so he walked. Also Big Sam going for the England job was a huge blow to them as I think he'd have turned it around for them.
