Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

Bilic was very critical of the officials in his post match interview yesterday. If certain managers (I'm thinking of Jose) had said the same things the FA would throw the book at them. I suspect that with West Ham being a minor club in the scheme of things this will go unpunished.

Seriously? In what world are Man City a threat for the title

Chelsea have wrapped this up.

Arsenal & Spurs are Bottlers

United, City and Liverpool are more worried about getting top 4

It's not over until it's over, I think we should win it from here but City could easily go in a run now.

I think in part it has to do with how they criticize the officials, and the circumstances around the criticism.

Because it's football and anything can happen. Why is it when anyone on here says things like this can happen posters like yourselves jump down their throats for thinking of these possibilities?

jump down your throat? lol, just curious on what basis that you made that claim... City, for the the past few months, pretty much have been huff & puff, they still haven't fixed their backline fragility.. The only thing new is gabriel jesus but even with him, they still needed a last minute goal to win in the last game.. nothing to sugggest they would go on a winning run easily..

But if you're playing on the realm of possibility just the for the sake of it then of course anything is possible, not only city but anyone... I thought you could offer me some unseen insight with that city claim that I might have missed hence my question.. no jump down throat intention..

I'm not saying it will happen just that it could. Of course I don't want to be right but they've been playing well recently.

They played superbly against West Ham, but that's about it. The Swansea game was basically decided by Gabriel Jesus.

I think offensively they are the most talented side in the league, but they're too vulnerable at the back and always give the opposition a chance.

We really shouldn't be losing the title to them from here IMO, not with their added fixtures.

Oh I agre, our 'rivals' all have European distractions so we should see it out but I'm just saying you never know in football and nothing is won until it's won.

They are going down. Can't see them picking up enough points now, with the teams around them winning the odd games here and there.

Leicester are awful , can't defend and can't score goals if I started watching the PL this year I would think Vardy and marhrez are championship level players

Mahrez and Vardy were outstanding last year to their credit, but they're one dimensional - quality adapts.

agreed , it just amazed me how much players form can change so quickly

I think both Vardy and Mahrez thrived within a certain system, which Kante was an integral part of.

Now that Kante is not there to bridge the gap between attack and defence, and the other teams have wisened up to their tactics, their performances have suffered accordingly.

Ranieri has completely failed to adapt to this reality.

Leicester should get a new manager in before Sevilla, this is likely there only ever shot at the CL and under Ranieri Sevilla will embarrasse them.
